From your first Ant Shadow up to your Reaper Scythe, I got you covered!

So, here’s the deal. I started fresh in Arise Crossover, no boosts, no titles, no rare drops from the AFK chamber… just clean gameplay. The goal? Climb from noob to SS-rank Hunter, step-by-step, and figure out the cleanest, most efficient way to do it. This isn’t some theorycrafted nonsense or a paid-to-win run. I wanted to show how anyone can make legit progress just by playing smart. And yeah, there’s a bit of grind involved, but that’s half the fun. So, if you’re looking for a clear path to power up, from your first shadow soldier all the way to the Reaper Scythe, my guide’s got you covered.

Noob to Pro Progression Guide

Progression in Arise Crossover can feel kind of overwhelming at first, there’s a ton of stuff going on, and it’s easy to fall into random grinding without really knowing what matters. That’s why I put this guide together. I’ve already gone through the grind, trial-and-errored my way through every raid, mob tier, and upgrade path, and figured out what actually works. I’ll walk you through how to build your first solid team, where to farm, what weapons to focus on, and how to actually scale without burning out!

Useful Tips & Tricks for Progression (Esp in Farming)

If you’re ever wondering which shadow in your inventory is actually doing the most work, just make sure your order is set to “Potential” and hit the “Equip Best” button. It automatically throws your top-damage units into the lineup; super helpful when you’ve got a bunch of shadows and don’t wanna manually check each one.

Now, if you’re curious about the actual damage stats of all the shadows you’ve Arised, there’s a clean way to check. Just hit the “Menu” button at the top right of your screen, then go to “Index.” It’s got every shadow you’ve unlocked, organized by the island they came from. Click on the one you’re curious about, plug in its rank and level, and it’ll show you its max damage. Super useful if you’re trying to figure out which shadows are worth investing in.

Oh, and here’s a quick rundown of the level caps for each rank, in case you’re planning upgrades:

  • E-rank caps at level 75
  • D-rank at 100
  • C-rank at 125
  • B-rank at 150
  • A-rank at 175
  • S-rank at 200
  • SS-rank at 225
  • G-rank goes all the way to 250

It’s always good to keep this in mind when you’re leveling, no point in wasting dust on something that’s already maxed out. Learned that one the hard way.

Building Your First Real Team (Dedu Island)

The real grind starts in Dedu Island (the one with the Ant Logo) during the Dedu Raid, which pops off every hour at :15 and runs for 15 minutes. That’s where you’ll farm your first Ant Shadows and start scaling up. If you’re looking for a quick cheatsheet for Ant Shadow healths for each rank, here’s one below:

  • E = 50K-150K
  • D = 300K-500K
  • C = 5M-15M
  • B = 150M-200M
  • A = 75B-125B
  • S = 7T-12T

Start by taking out E-rank ants. They’re manageable with your starting Blossom Shadows, even without upgrades. Once you get (arise) four of them, evolve those into your first basic team of Ant Soldiers.

After that, move up to the D-rank ants. Their health jumps a bit, but with a few levels on your team, it’s doable. Knock out four of these and evolve them, then move onto the C-rank ants. Their health climbs fast, up to 15 million, but your shadows should be able to handle it if you’ve been leveling as you go. It’s super important to level your units here; damage scaling really starts to kick in.

Scaling Through the Ranks

Next up, B-rank ants. These guys hit harder with around 150 to 200 million HP, but your leveled C-rank shadows should be enough to get through. Then it’s onto the A-rank ants. They’ve got tens of billions of health, but at this point your damage should be scaling nicely if you’ve kept your shadows upgraded. Same routine here, take down four, evolve, and get ready for the big boys.

S-rank ants are where things slow down a bit. They don’t spawn as often, and when they do, they’ve got around 10 trillion HP. Don’t be afraid to server hop here if you need to reset spawns, it really helps. Once you’ve got one shadow of each rank (E through S), you’re ready to do something big.

If you’re having a hard time taking down S-rank Ants: What you wanna do is chill in Brum Island for a bit and wait for those S-rank dungeons to pop. When they do, hop in and start farming Light Admirals.Arise them as soon as you can, and focus on maxing them out. Once you’ve got a full squad of leveled-up Light Admirals, that’s when the S-rank ants start becoming manageable. I learned the hard way trying to brute force it too early, save yourself the headache and build up properly first.

SS-Rank Ant Soldier Shadows & Power Boost from Guild Ranks

Head over to Leveling City and find the Shadow Merging NPC (Shadow Upgrader – Skull Logo). This is where it gets satisfying.

Combine one of each rank—E, D, C, B, A, and S—to create an SS-rank Ant Shadow. If you followed the earlier steps and farmed four of each, you can build four SS-rank soldiers. That’s your new core squad right there. Make sure to level them up fully, they’re going to carry you through the mid-to-endgame.

Still in Leveling City, swing by the Guild Building and take the Rank Test by taking the elevator. This is an easy way to buff your total damage across the board. Each rank you unlock gives you +5% total damage. But when you hit A-rank, things get spicy. You get a 25% boost to your personal damage and a 40% boost to your shadows. That’s a game-changer. And with your SS-rank team, the early rank tests should be no problem at all.

Cash Farming in Nipon City & Getting Prism Blade

Now that you’ve got a solid team and some buffs, it’s time to make some serious money. Head over to Nipon City near Faceheal Town, and start farming Heaven mobs. The Level 5 ones are perfect for farming: low HP, high cash payouts. Each one gives around 84 billion cash, which adds up fast.

Your first big weapon purchase here is the Prism Blade. It costs 1.68 trillion, so you’ll be grinding a bit, but once you get it, head back to Leveling City and enchant it. Aim for Sharpness 5 if you’re tight on powder, but if you’ve got the dust, go higher.

Upgrade to the Draconic Axe

Keep farming Heaven mobs in Nipon until you’ve saved up 13.32 trillion. That’s enough for the Draconic Axe, which is a big upgrade over the Prism Blade. Enchant it as soon as you buy it. Again, Sharpness 5 is solid, but don’t be afraid to push for more if you have the resources. If you’re low on dust, hit up the AFK chamber overnight and cash in on that powder.

Diablo Mobs in Mori Town

Now you’re ready to move into Mori Town and face the Diablo mobs. These mobs start dropping serious cash, around 4.2 trillion each if you’re hitting Level 5 or 6.

Your first purchase here is the Twin Crimson Rods for 84 trillion. Then grind some more and pick up the Colossal Scythe for 336 trillion. Make sure to enchant both, but don’t overdo it, these are just stepping stones to the real prize.

Endgame Weapon – The Reaper Scythe

This is it. The Reaper Scythe. It costs a massive 1.33 quadrillion, but with the Colossal Scythe and your SS-rank team, you can farm efficiently and hit that goal. Once you buy it, enchant it immediately. You want this thing dealing as much damage as possible, especially if you’re going to be pushing high-rank dungeons and tests.

Once you’ve got it equipped and enchanted, take the S-rank Guild Test. That unlocks a final +30% damage bonus, which is massive when stacked on top of everything else you’ve built.

Double Cash, Half the Grind: If you want to speed things up, grab the 2x Cash Gamepass using tickets from dungeons. Dungeons are way more generous with tickets than AFK chambers, so prioritize them if you’re grinding for passes. This boost will literally cut your farming time in half.

How I Personally Did The Progression

There you have it! Now, here’s a quick recap of how it all played out for me. I started off with no title, no lucky pulls, just basic starter gear (Jeweled Rod). I hit Dedu Island, started farming Soondoo shadows, and slowly built up my team. Once I had a full Go squad, I moved through Gonshee, Daek and Longin, picked up an Anders along the way (shoutout to luck), and equipped the Prism Spectre.

From there, it was all about grinding smarter. Moved to Grass Village, grabbed Largalgan shadows, enchanted weapons, and started tackling dungeons for better drops. I lucked out with two Egris shadows from a D-rank dungeon, then built a full B-rank Largalgan team. That took my damage through the roof.

Eventually, I reached Brum Island, timed it perfectly with an Ant Raid, and managed to get my first SS-rank shadow. Things snowballed after that. I cleared more dungeons, ranked up, farmed in Mori Town, and eventually got my hands on the Reaper Scythe. Even snagged a G-rank Ziru from the AFK chamber late-game. That was the cherry on top.

Wrap-Up

So yeah, from nothing to SS-rank hunter in Arise Crossover. The grind? Definitely real. But honestly, the progression felt super rewarding the whole way through. It’s not even that complicated when you break it down: just keep pushing through the maps, Arise stronger mobs as you go, and upgrade your weapons whenever you can. Bit by bit, it all adds up.

If you’re just starting out or feeling stuck mid-progress, I hope my guide gives you some direction and makes the climb feel a little less overwhelming. Trust me, once you get the hang of it, the game starts clicking, and you’ll be flying through the ranks before you know it.
