Dune Awakening may primarily be a survival multiplayer game, but it features a variety of different quests that you can complete in the form of contracts. These contracts help expand the world and allow you to progress through the game – while also fleshing out the lore. However, not all the contracts in the game are straightforward – with some requiring you to locate certain NPCs. The Next Target is one such contract – where you’ll need to find Elara Tuek. In this guide, we’ll show you exactly where you can find her and progress with the contract. Let’s get into it!
Where to Find Elara Tuek
To find Elera Tuek, you’ll be heading to a specific location in Dune Awakening known as Harko Village. Using the ornithopter is much easier to get here. However, if you’re earlier in the game, you’ll need to fast travel there as you may not have the ornithopter.
So, we’ll go over the method that does not rely on the ornithopter. Otherwise, you can simply fly there!
Fast Travel To Harko Village
Starting off, to find Elera Tuek in Dune Awakening, you’ll need to head to Harko Village. If you still haven’t visited this location, you can fast travel there.
To fast travel, you’ll need to head to any trading hub in the game and talk to the Ornithopter Pilot. The most familiar of these hubs is The Anvil, but you can find this NPC at any of the trading posts. We recommend simply going to the nearest.

Here, select the “I want you to fly me somewhere” option and you’ll be able to select any area to fast travel. You’ll also find the Harko Village option. Keep in mind that it will cost you 2500 Solaris – which is a lot in the early game.
So, we recommend that you complete other contracts until you get the required money. From there, fast travel to Harko Village.
Locate Elera Tuek
Once you arrive at Harko Village, open the map and you’ll be able to make out a bar called Hannivar‘s. It will even have the Barkeep icon near it on the map.
We’ve marked the location you want to head to below. You simply need to head straight from the landing bay until you reach New Court Way.
From there, enter the building on the left which has an hologram above and you’ll arrive at the bar.
When you arrive at the bar, go to the right from the center of the bar. From there, head to the back and you’ll find a sofa. Elara Tuek will be sitting on it, ready for you to talk.
Simply interact with her and you’ll be able to progress with The Next Target contract.
