If you’re struggling with the Yeti in Rune Slayer (especially solo or with a melee class), this glitch is a lifesaver. I found a simple spot that lets you completely break the Yeti’s AI. No gimmicks, no weird setup. Just drag him to a specific wall, and boom, he gets stuck, you get free hits. Ranged classes can farm it safely, and even melee can pull it off with the right spacing. This is the fastest, safest way I’ve found to farm Yeti drops without taking a single hit, and yeah, it still works as of now. Let me walk you through it.
How to Glitch Yeti Boss Cheese Guide
The Yeti is one of the tougher bosses in the Tundra, especially if you’re running solo or using a melee class. His wide-range attacks and bulky HP pool make him a nightmare in close quarters, unless you’ve got a solid strategy (or a cheesy one).
One of the earliest and most iconic methods was the “Spike Cheese” strat, where you baited the Yeti to an icicle, climbed up, and smacked him while he flailed helplessly. But as of the latest patch? RIP Spike Cheese: They removed the collision on the icicles. You now just fall right through. So what now? A new glitch has emerged, and this one’s even easier.
How to Glitch the Yeti
Alright, here’s the real reason you clicked the guide:
- Aggro the Yeti – I personally use Auto Rain to slow him.
- Drag him to the back-left wall of the den.
- Hug the wall tightly, really glue yourself to it.
- The Yeti will get stuck, frozen in place, unable to reach you.
- Start swinging or shooting, you’re safe as long as you stay in the sweet spot.
Recommended Classes:
- Ranged classes (Archer, Mage): Perfectly safe, full cheese.
- Melee classes: Still doable, just keep testing your range, spacing, and don’t stand too close.
What If He Breaks Out?
If the glitch resets:
- Circle around the arena to reset his aggro.
- Reposition him back to the wall, he’ll get stuck again.
- Took me 2 minutes solo to finish him off. Clean, consistent, zero damage taken.
Wrap-Up: Glitch Smart, Farm Easily
And that’s pretty much it! This new Yeti glitch is hands down the easiest method I’ve found for soloing him with zero damage taken. Whether you’re farming for materials, chasing that rare Yeti Rune, or just want revenge after getting clapped a few times, this cheese strat gets it done. It works best for ranged classes, but even melee builds can pull it off with a bit of positioning. Just hug the wall, bait him right, and you’ve got yourself a free boss kill in under two minutes.
Use this while it’s still in the game, there’s a good chance it’ll get patched soon. Oh, and if you’re dealing with the Vampire Dragon boss too, don’t worry, I’ve got you covered. We actually made a guide for that glitch as well. Go check it out, it’s just as busted.
