We'll go over the best way to progress through all the content in the game currently.

Abdullah Riaz

Anime Guardians on Roblox is an anime tower game where your goal is to get the best units and progress through the challenges. These units are inspired by popular anime, with your goal typically being to get the rarest ones. This is because they tend to have the best abilities. But the game has had various updates, and it can be challenging for new players to figure out how exactly to grind. If you’re in this situation, we’ve got you covered! In this beginner’s guide, we’ll be going over exactly how you can progress from the start and get overpowered. Without further delay, let’s get into it!

Beginner’s Guide

Anime Guardians has a range of different game modes – not to mention the various events and summons. This can make it difficult for players just starting out.

So, we’ll be going over all the content you should progress through in order with tips and recommendations. After all, focusing on certain units and rewards will make it more efficient for you to progress. Be sure to follow the order so you have an easier time!

Stick to the end as we’ll also show you the best way to farm all the rerolls in the game!

Story Progression (Level 30)

When you start Anime Guardians, you typically start with a free Exodia unit. With this unit, you should be able to clear the Story on Nightmare difficulty easily.

Your goal is to complete the story and go through all the Stages on Nightmare difficulty with the Exodia unit equipped. Try to complete all the Acts as well.

Story Mode Anime Guardians

Once you’ve completed all the acts, you will get access to the Infinite mode in Story. From here, we recommend that you start farming the Infinite for the final stage – which is Academy Demon.

While you’re in the Infinite mode or any content in Anime Guardians, you’ll get the option to select a card. Be sure to take the Super Faster Wave card because it gives better rewards and makes the runs faster.

Perfect for farming!

If you’re worried that you’ll end up losing, it won’t really master. Even if you AFK and do nothing in the Infinite mode, you’ll still get a lot of currency rewards for losing – alongside XP progression.

Your goal should be to keep farming Infinite until you reach Level 30 in the game. Reaching Level 30 will also unlock trading and you can move onto the next phase of your beginner progression.

Once you reach Level 30, your goal will be to aim for certain Banner units. These units are crucial for the harder runs that await you in the rest of the content.

Here are some banner units we recommend that you aim for in Anime Guardians:

  • Mythic Units (Main Banner)
    • Senko (0.5%)
      • Must have mythic farm unit
  • Limited Units (Exclusive Banner)
    • Vivian (0.5%)
    • Megumin (0.5%)
    • Idol (0.5%)

After you get these units, you have multiple options for the content that can farm. You can break off the order of progression a bit if you want from the one we recommend from here onwards.

Tower Adventures – Unlock & First Stage

At this point, you can consider doing the first stage of the Tower Adventures mode. While it’s not the best way to get rerolls, it’ll be much easier to get them.

This is because your goal should be to get trait rerolls so that you can make your units stronger.

To unlock access to the Tower mode, start by going to the Events area. Here, you should find an NPC called Yuto.

Yuto Anime Guardians

Interact with Yuto and you will get some simple quests. Complete these quests and you will be able to access Tower easily now via the Tower Adventures Portal.

The first stage of the tower is pretty easy early on and you can farm all the floors to get some rerolls. At this point, we suggest that you only focus on the first tower.

The second tower is much harder and you’ll want to have better units so that you can farm it more easily.

JoJo Event

Besides the Tower, you can also do the JoJo event. To start this event, you simply need to head to the Events area and talk to the Johny Joestar NPC.

We recommend that you do this event either in Matchmaking or find experienced players on Discord or other communities. This is because you will need to be carried if you want to reliably win.

The mode itself is pretty simple. You can upgrade different modifiers at night that you can use to buff your units or debuff enemies. Additionally, you can also claim random chests that spawn for some drops.

The main purpose of this game mode is to get the Jojo Units. Instead of getting them as drops, you will need to farm materials that you can use to trade in.

Here are the Jojo units that we recommend getting in Anime Guardians:

  • Valentine (D4C Love Train)
  • Made In Heaven.

These are the best units that you’ll be using throughout the rest of your Anime Guardians journey.

Mushroom Rush Event

After you get D4C in Anime Guardians, your goal should be to get Robin. She is a must have unit that you can get as a 2% drop in the Mushroom Rush event.

The reason for this is that once you upgrade her to Max, any unit that you placed previously and the one you place after her will instantly reach Max Upgrade as well. This allows you to save a lot of money and makes her viable in every game mode!

To play this event, simply head to the Events area and talk to the Castorice NPC.

When you play this event, you get Mushrooms as a unique event currency. Each stages gives you x1,000 Mushrooms and lasts for roughly around 1 minute.

Besides getting Robin as a drop, your goal should also be to get the Celestial Tear Pendant artifact found in the Event Shop. This artifact reduces your active skill cooldown by 20%.

You can purchase it for 40,000 Mushrooms so it shouldn’t take too long to farm it. By that time, you should be able to get Robin as well.

After you get the Celestial Tear Pendant, roll Divine Wrath on it and equip it on your D4C unit. This will have you set up perfectly for the next stage of progression.

Best Way To Get Rerolls (Second Tower)

If you do manage to get Divine Wrath on the Celestial Tear Pendant for D4C, you can pretty much AFK the second tower. But even if you don’t, we still recommend that you manually farm it.

This is because you can use the Second Tower to farm rerolls reliably. This is much faster than farming them via the first tower.

To AFK with D4C, all you need to do is place him down after you’ve put down your other units and turn on Auto for his ability. He will make the base HP of your units so high that the other mobs will simply not be able to defeat you.

This is basically how you can macro the second tower with only one unit. So, we strongly suggest you try to get the Celestial Pendant and Divine Wrath combination on him.

It will make the rest of the farming process so much faster.

After you clear the second tower, you will get Claws or Fangs as a reward. This is the main material that you’ll need to to get rerolls. Keep in mind that there is a max cap of 10,000 on these.

So, try not to exceed this when you are AFK farming them.

These materials are useful because you can use them in the Exclusive Event shop. Simply head to the Events area and talk to the Ragna NPC.

From here, click on the event shop icon you see on the left.

Here, you’ll be able to spend the currency and purchase all sorts of rewards. You can even purchase Rerolls directly from here but these are not worth it. Instead, you should purchase Ragna Capsules.

These cost x5 fangs or claws each.

You can open Ragna Capsules and get all sorts of different rewards from them. Here is a breakdown of the rewards with their drop rates:

  • +100 Player Exp – 18.73%
  • +100 Battlepass xp – 18.73%
  • Stat Reroll – 12.45%
  • x5,000 Gems – 12.45%
  • Super Stat Reroll – 12.45%
  • Trait Reroll – 12.45%
  • Artifact Trait Reroll – 12.45%
  • Ragna (The Reaper) – 0.1%.

Purchasing Ragna Capsules is a much more efficient way of getting rerolls and you also get a variety of other rewards. In this way, you will be able to get most of the meta traits on all your units – making them even stronger!

This includes a chance to get Ragna which is a very strong unit.
