Fisch Cultist Lair Update Guide

The new Cultist Lair update for Fisch Roblox is finally here! Players can now get access to the new location where there are new NPCs, rods, quests, mutations and so much more to explore. With so much to explore in this update, you might be overwhelmed by everything – including the different requirements. To help you out, we’ve prepared a guide that goes over all the important things in the guide. Without further delay, let’s get into it!

Cultist Lair Update Guide

The Cultist Lair update features a bunch of new content, alongside balance changes. For simplicity’s sake, we will only focus on the most important content added to Fisch.

How to Unlock Cultist Lair

Starting off, the first thing that you need to do is head to Terrapin Island.

Once you arrive here, you will need to look for the Sea Traveller NPC. He can be found along the shore. Talk to him and he will ask you to catch him a Sea Turtle.

Luckily, the Sea Turtle can be caught by fighting at Terrapin Island.

Once you get the Sea Turtle, go to the Sea Traveller NPC and give it to him. Doing so will give you the Sea Traveller’s Note. This note will contain the coordinates that you need to head to on Terrapin Island.

However, you will actually need to enter through a hidden area to go to where the coordinates indicate. Doing so will take you into the Terrapin Hideaway.Here is a video showing where to find the secret Terrapin Hideaway cave that leads to the Cultist Lair.

The next step is to use a Sundial Totem to make it night and Smokescreen Totem to make it Foggy. This is because the next step requires there to be a Foggy Night.

Once it’s a Foggy Night, a lever will appear inside the Terrapin Hideaway. Interact with this lever and it will open a door that will lead you inside the Cutlist Lair.

From now onwards, you will have permanent access to the Cultist Lair. So, now you will be able to do the rest of the content inside. This includes getting the dreamer’s amulet.

How to Get the Dreamer’s Amulet

The Dreamer’s Amulet will require you to get 6 fragments throughout the four layers of the new Cultist’s Lair location. Each fragment can be obtained by completing the relevant quest.

Additionally, you will also need to unlock each layer of the Cultist’s Lair – so we’ll show you how to do that as well. You can check out our how to get dreamer’s amulet guide too!

Cultist Lair – Layer 1 Quests

There are two quests that you need to complete in the first layer of the Cultist Lair. Additionally, you will also need to unlock the entrance to the elevator for Layer 2 access.

Eldran

Starting off, you want to talk to Eldran. For this quest, you will need to find x3 Cultist Markings that can be found all over the area. Interact with all of them and return to him to get his fragment.

Maelira

For the next quest, talk to Maelira in the same area as the previous NPC. This NPC will ask you to catch x5 fish from the Cultist’s Lair Bestiary.

All you need to do is fish in the center of the area until you catch all the fish. After that, turn in the quest at the NPC and you’re done with the second fragment.

How To Unlock Layer 2

In the opposite side of the room directly in front of the entrance is another door requiring x3 ingredients to open:

Albino Moon Wood
- Can be caught by fishing at Snowcap Island — Surrounding Ocean
- You will need to appraise it until you get the Albino mutation
Key of Whispers
- Can be caught by fishing in the center of Layer 1 of the Cultist’s Lair
Sparkling Enchant Relic

Once unlocked the door stays permanently open, granting access to an elevator in order to descend further into the Lair. This will take you to the Hall of Whispers.

Hall Of Whispers – Layer 2 Quests

There is only one quest that you need to complete in Layer 2 of the Cultist’s Lair in Fisch for the Dreamer’s Amulet. Additionally, you will also need to unlock the elevator that leads to the next layer.

Kareth

Next up, you want to talk to Kareth on Layer 2 of the Cutlist’s Lair. For this quest, you will be required to cleanse the corrupt books.

This is a fairly simple quest as all you need to do is explore the area and click on the books. Just move your cursor around on the books and you’ll find that some are clickable. Do all of this until you get all of them and then obtain the fragment.

How To Unlock Layer 3

After completing the quest, you need to get to the next layer. In the opposite side of the hallway directly going forward from the entrance is yet another door requiring 3 ingredients to open:

Darkened Ancient Wood
- Can be caught by fishing at the Sunstone Island
- You will need to appraise it until you get the Albino mutation
Key of Oaths
- Can be caught by fishing in the center of Layer 2
Shiny Enchant Relic

Once unlocked the door stays permanently open, granting access to an elevator in order to descend even further into the Lair. This will take you to the Passage of Oaths.

Passage Of Oaths – Layer 3 Quests

There are two quests that you need to complete in Layer 3 of the Cultist’s Lair area. After that, you also need to unlock the elevator that takes you to the final zone.

Sythra

The first quest in this area is for Sythra. For this quest, you will need to light 10 lanterns that can be found all over the new area. This includes one situated in Layer 4 as well.

Simply explore the area and light the lanterns until you get all of them. After that, return to her to get the fragment.

Varn

For this quest, talk to Varn to start it. He will ask you to find 9 notes found all around the Lair. These notes are basically letters that spell the word ‘Leviathan’.

After you find all of them, return to him and he will give you the fragment.

How To Unlock Layer 4

Luckily, unlike the other floors, the door to this elevator will already be open. So, you just need to head inside and go to the final floor.

The Sanctum – Layer 4 Quests (Craft Dreamer’s Amulet)

There is one quest that you need to complete in this area. This is also where you can craft the Amulet once you get all the 6 fragments.

Tessael

The final quest can be obtained by talking to Tessael. For this quest, you will need to catch a ‘Cursed Touch’ Cathulid or Cathulith.

This is easier said than done because you will need the Great Dreamer Rod. You can only get this at the Cursed Isle so you will need to wait for that to spawn. Over there, you will need to purchase it for 500,000.

This rod will allow you to get the Cursed Touch mutation.

After that, you will need to wait for a Cathulid Abundance event to appear in the Cultist’s Lair. Whenever it does, start fishing there using the Great Dreamer Rod. Keep doing it until you catch the Cursed Touch Cathulid or Cathulith.

Next, return to the NPC to get your final fragment.

The Cultist Lair update features a bunch of new content, alongside balance changes. For simplicity’s sake, we will only focus on the most important content added to Fisch.

This NPC will also give you the Lucid Reel. You can actually use this to unlock one of the new rods added to the update.

To craft it, head to the Crafting Station in the Ancient Archives. Over here, you should see the recipe for the Lunar Rod. This rod requires the following:

Lunar Thread ×1
Lucid Reel ×1
Cursed Touch Scrap Metal ×1

This rod can be used to apply the Lucid mutation, which will be handy for the other quests.

Crafting Dreamer’s Amulet

Once you arrive here, all you need to do is go to the Amulet NPC here. Talk to him and give him all the fragments you have. Doing so will allow you to finally get the Dreamer’s Amulet!

Leviathan Hunt Location (Eidolon Secret Rod Unlock)

After you have the Dreamer’s Amulet, go to the door at the back of The Sanctum. This will allow you to go further inside the lair. We recommend doing this before you go to The Restless One to avoid a bug that locks you out of the location.

Hopefully, this bug will be fixed soon.

Inside this area, you can find a trap door at the back. This is where the secret rod is called the Eidolon Rod and costs 5 million.

The right way to access is via a puzzle where you turn 15 Obelisks all around the Cultist’s Lair. Here is a breakdown of where you can find them:

2 Obelisks in the Cultist Lair
5 Obelisks in the Hall of Whispers
2 Obelisks in the Passage of Oaths
1 Obelisk behind the elevator leading to The Sanctum.
5 Obelisks in The Sanctum.

Besides that, you will also see podiums all around the center of the room. Each podium will require you to place a specific item on it. To activate a Leviathan Hunt in the center, you will need to activate each of the podiums.

All you need to do is catch Cathalids with different mutations.

After you’re done placing all the Cathalids, the Leviathan will appear in the middle. Now you can use your fishing rod and attempt to catch the Leviathan. You will need to come here multiple times for the quest with the Restless One.

The Restless One Quest (Dreambreaker Rod)

Now that you have the Dreamer’s Amulet, you can return to the Restless One NPC on the first floor. Give it to him and he will start giving you multiple objectives.

Here is a breakdown of all the quests he will give you:

Return a Lucid Enchant Relic
Return a Lucid Speed Core
Return a Lucid Cathulid
Return a Phantom Cathulith
Return a Lucid Leviathan or Profane Leviathan.

You can do all of this using the Lucid Rod, Eidolon Rod and the Leviathan Hunts we mentioned. After you’re done you will need to pay C$10,000,000 and be level 500. Doing so will finally give you the Dreambreaker Rod.

There is certainly a lot of grinding to be done, especially towards the end with the amount of luck involved. But keep at it and you should be able to get some of the strongest rods added to the game yet. The quests are also pretty fun and help flesh out the lore a bit.
