Souls-like games like Elden Ring, Sekiro and Thymesia all have a lot in common, and one of those commonalities is their bosses. Bosses often stand out from the rest of the enemies and sometimes from the rest of the level itself and they’re often difficult to defeat. Games in this genre pride themselves on having a general hard difficulty but also unforgiving bosses. This is a staple of the genre and when you see a large health bar on your screen you know it’s going to be a tough fight. In this guide, we’ll show you where to find one boss in Thymesia, and search for his cores.
Search for the Cores Guide In Sea of Trees | Thymesia
In Thymesia you play a mysterious character named Corvus as he tries to find out what this plague taking over his country is. For that, he needs to go through hellish plague-ridden cities and areas as the player tries to defeat the bosses of the game and get their cores. These cores are key to learning what the plague is and how to stop it.
One of these bosses is in the Sea of Trees, a straightforward and linear map with a lot of enemies between you and the boss. When you get into the level just go through the map, as usual, dodging or defeating enemies along the way. At one point you’ll see an open area where a mini-boss with a hammer will drop down once you get near enough. You need to defeat this mini-boss to continue.
After defeating him, go through the rest of the linear level. There will be a part where it seems like a dead end. In truth, you’ll actually need to go to the side and jump down some platforms to continue.
Once you’ve progressed enough through the level, you’ll find this lift that you can interact with. If you see this then that means you’re on the right track. Going through this lift and taking another one will lead you to the boss area.
Defeating the boss will be difficult. But when done, you will be rewarded with a core and the story of Thymesia continues.
