Unlocking certain things in Genshin Impact is what everybody is up for! You will have lots of things to unlock too. We are talking items, areas, outfits, and even sometimes – caves! In this guide, we will be showing you the road to unlocking the Chatrakam Cave. Let’s get started.

How To Unlock Chatrakam Cave – Genshin Impact

To be able to unlock the Chatrakam Cave you will need to go around the Chatrakam Cave area and look for this NPC that will be standing next to the main road. Once next to him, simply interact with him and you’ll start a questline.

His name will be Aragaru. The first objective that he will give you will be to enter the cave and use the Kusava to open up the path to inside the cave. The Kusava is basically a type of spell that will be given to you for use that will crash through certain types of stones and rocks. Use it this way to enter the cave.

Now you will need to enter and Explore the cave. Keep walking inside and look at everything around you. This way you’ll get the quest finished. Beat the enemies that will come to you and head for the writings on the wall. This will trigger a cutscene.

Runes

Once you get past the cutscene you will be looking for 3 sets of Runes. These Runes will all be behind the stones and rocks that you will need to crash with the newly acquired spell – the Kusava.

The first one will be just up the road. Continue to walk up the high hill road on the right and you will see this stone formation on your rock. Use the Kusava and you’ll get through it.

You will then need to go and Investigate the Runes of course.

The second one will be right after the first one. Simply take out all the mushroom enemies that will be on the left and then proceed to use the Kusama to take down the other stone structure.

Also, go next to the Runes and hit Investigate to go through it.

For the third stone structure, you will want to climb up the tree trunk. You will see the big tree trunk just next to the second stone. Just go up and then on the right you’ll see the third rune location. Use the Kusama and you will get inside of it.

Careful though, in this one there will be enemies that will spawn once you break it by using the Kusama. They are just a couple of low-level mushrooms so worry not.

After this is done, you will need to go back to Aragaru. After talking you will leave the Cave. The next objective will be to go to the cave where Barsam Flower will be located at. For this one, just go outside, and next to the lake is where you’ll see a big cave going down.

Just inside of it by using glide. This way you won’t die out of fall damage once you get on the floor. Keep walking inside of it until you see the Barsam Flower. It will be a very big flower with a green shield covering it all around.

Use The Kusama To Break The Seal Around The Barsam Flower

There will be a total of 3 locations where you’ll need to use the Kusama.

For the first one, you will need to enter this little cave entrance that will be just in front of the Seal.

Simply go inside and keep walking until you reach the end of the tunnel. Here activate this thing by using your fully boosted bow and it will open zap locations. Follow the zaps until you see this ghostlooking creature. It will take you to the Seal location.

For the second one, you will go on the opposite side from the first entrance. Here you will find another cave entrance. Enter it.

Keep walking inside of it until you see the totems. Strike all the totems with your bow and keep killing all the monsters. You will see a couple of stone structures but the Seal won’t be behind them. Just keep walking until you reach the end of the tunnel. This is the real one.

Get out of the cave again. For the third one you will actually need to go behind that seal barrier. Simply go to this little totem in front of the barrier and activate it.

This way the Seal barrier will disappear and you will need to go through it. This route will be packed with enemies! There will be high-level enemies behind every corner so come inside with caution! The Last Seal stone structure will be right behind this boss.

You will have to kill all of the enemies and then simply use the Kusama on the stone structure as you’ve done for the other ones.

Pick The Barsam Flower

Now you will need to go back to the open area that will in the middle. Right where the seal barrier was at the last time. Zap to this location and you’ll find the Barsam Flower on top of this floating island.

That is it! This is how you’ll get the Chatrakam Cave completely unlocked. We hope that this guide was of some help and aided you in this adventure. Good luck!
