The Legends of the Stone Lock is a quest that is fairly difficult to finish. First of all, you will have to go through some very weird totem structures and puzzles, only to find out that you will be fighting with a lot of enemies once you finish them. In this guide, we will be your helping hand in completing this quest. Let’s get started.

Legends of the Stone Lock Guide – Genshin Impact

This is the location of where you will need to start the Legends of the Stone Lock. It will be an underground cave that you will locate here:

Simply jump down from the fast travel location and you will see a totem right under this tree. Continue to glide to it and enter the cave. This is the Gandha Hill.

Here you will find a very weird form of links that are holding together. You will need to shoot at the totems that are holding this structure down. Turn into a fire element character with a bow and then charge up your bow completely and fire it in the totems in this exact order:

First, you will go to the one on the left, then on the right, and then proceed to shoot the one further away from both of them.

Now comes the fun part! These shields and balls are actually holding down very tough minibosses! Surprise, surprise… You will need to defeat all 3 of them. They are extremely powerful so make sure that you are on full HP before you start this battle.

When you have defeated them you will have started with the Legends of the Stone Lock quest.

Legends Of The Stone Lock Quest

You will come here for completing this quest. Simply make sure to put Navigate in the quest menu in Genshin Impact. This way you will get a much easier time navigating and getting to the puzzle.

It will be underground and you will need to pass through a lot of tunnels to get there, so it is a very good idea indeed.

Basically, you will be going deeper and deeper in this cave until you spot all of the Ardashan and Paimon mushroom creatures. This is where they are located at:

Once you get near them there will be a long talking sequence. Once that is done you can continue with completing this quest.

Now the next objective will be to go to the bottom of the lake! No, unfortunately, you will not go to the bottom of any lake. Instead, just go to this cave tunnel here and you will get a cutscene.

It is going to be right under you after you have finished gliding to get there. After the cutscene, you will get teleported to the bottom of the lake where the big Legend Stone will be at.

Just like the last one, also here you will find that weird structure of the links and the totems. You will have to strike all of them in the correct order again. Follow this picture:

You will need to use a fire element character too. So just proceed to change into one and strike them one by one.

Boss Fight

Then after this is done you will get a boss spawning right in the middle of the ball structure. It is the Perpetual Mechanical Array and is a very tough boss. You might consider dying a couple of items in order to get through him.

There will be a couple of stages when fighting him. First, it’s the big boss, then there will be a couple of mini-bosses and once you kill all of them the fight will be completed.

After you defeat him you will get a cutscene once again and the quest will be successfully finished. Congratulations!

We hope that this guide was of some aid and helped you complete the Legends of the Stone Lock questline. Have fun!
