Character builds and team builds have always been a thing in video games, sometimes you don’t even know that you’re conforming to a build. Following isn’t for everyone though and some players tend to do their own thing without following guides. We understand that but for those people who don’t want to spend time experimenting or theory crafting and want to go straight to a tried and tested build this is the article for you. In this guide, we’ll show you the basics of team building in CounterSide.

Team Building Guide In CounterSide

CounterSide is a gacha game first and foremost, and because of that general builds don’t usually include specific characters but instead focus on team composition. In this guide, we’ll focus on those kinds of builds because not everyone can get specific characters for the more specialized builds out there.

The first thing you’ll need to know is to set up a Leader. In CounterSide when you start a mission the four characters you can deploy are randomized from your squad. There is one exception though and that’s the leader. Setting a leader will guarantee that they’ll be available for deployment at the start of the mission. This will also lower the cost of deployment of the leader by 1.

As for team composition, characters are divided into different classes. There are Defenders, Strikers, Rangers and Snipers. The most general squad build will be 1 Defender, 1 Striker, 2 Rangers with either another Ranger or Sniper in the squad. There are also supporter characters and they’re more used for tank heavy squad compositions.

Congratulations you now know how to build your team in CounterSide, now go out there and set up those squads! Many thanks to ACGamer for showing everyone some great builds. If you want more build guides then go check their video out here: TEAM BUILDING GUIDE – THE BASICS! | Counter:Side – YouTube
