Recently the hit Coop game Grounded has finally released it’s 1.0 update and it’s briging in new and old fans like! The new update adds a bunch of new stuff, including a complete whole story campaign the players can go through. They’ve also added new items, and new areas to the game as well as a bunch of quality-of-life features. You can now explore the new area of the labs and the complete story even takes you there via quests. In this guide we’ll show you how to do one of the quests into the labs in Grounded.
Explore The Lab For Signs Of Dr. Tully In Grounded
In the quest “The Missing Scientist” after finding the entrance to the labs under the shed, you’ll be tasked with then exploring said labs and find any sign of the scientist Dr. Tully. The labs can be a maze with all of the winding paths and hallways, as well as a bunch of enemies to go through so in this guide we’ll show you where to go.
When you first enter the area there’s a door to the left that goes to a winding path down. Go through there and you’ll see a room with ants that you’ll need to take care of.
After defeating the enemies in the room take the door to the left.
You’ll go to another room and at the back behind a broken door is a lever that you’ll need to pull. The room is also filled with enemies so keep that in mind.
Now go back to the previous room and the door to the right should now be good to open.
Continuing down the path is a room with a humanoid ant monster on the other side of a glass wall. In the middle of the room is a hole on the ceiling. Go to the hole in the ceiling and jump down the other side of the glass wall to fight the boss.
The boss is called a “Mant” and it’s got a lot of health so watch out.
After defeating the boss, press the big red button in the room and it should open the door on the other side of the glass wall where you just came from. You don’t need to go to the ceiling since there’s a door there that leads back to the previous room.
Go through the newly opened door and you’ll find a hand scanner to interact and you’ll meet Dr. Tully, finishing this part of the quest!
