In Mount and Blade 2 Bannerlord, you will have to manage huge armies in the battles. First, you will need to win them over, feed them, upgrade them to be stronger, and keep their loyalty. So, many players are wondering how to control the army on the console, so stick with our guide, and we will show you how to do that.

The first thing to do is to open the settings and go to the gameplay button. Make sure that Order Visual Type is set up to Radial.
You have a huge army, and you are in battle and don’t know what to do with them. When you enter the war, the army will be split into four units. Commanding them is tricky when you are not used to it. So first, hold L1 to choose the units that you want to move and go close to them.
Once you have chosen the army, go down with the right stick and select the left button. Click X, and it will open up more options, as you can see in the image above. Choose what option you want to select and click it.
If you want to make a shield, press L1 and hold it. After, go down with the right stick and press X on the line. Once you have done that, you will see a lot of options, and to make a shield wall, press A.
