First, you will defeat the enemies along the path and open the gates and go up in the village to the cable lift.
Head right from the lift and climb up. After that, you will freeze the geyser. Then, follow the path and freeze the elevated geyser, so the lift can go up.
Once you did that, head back to the lift and instruct Brok to close the geyser. After you are at higher ground, climb up the wall and tell Brok to open the geyser again. By doing that, it will open an angle for you to freeze the first geyser. Then, the Brok will open the gate.
After you go through the door, you will see a Legendary Chest on your right side. Open the chest and get your rewards. After that, head straight and you will eliminate the enemies there.
By doing that, the lift will be functional again. So, that is all you need to know about releasing the lift in God of War Ragnarok.
