God of War Ragnarök: Where to Find All Leviathan Axe Runic Attacks

Whosoever holds this axe, if you be worthy, shall receive the power of Kratos.

If you don’t know what Runic Attacks are, then are you really playing God of War? These attacks are essentially special attacks that deal far more damage than your regular light and heavy attacks. Just like all special attacks, using them will then put them in a cooldown, so you will have to wait until they are active again in order to use. The Leviathan Axe has 5 Runic Attacks that you can use, but you will need to find them first. Here’s a guide on how to find them.

Where to Find All Leviathan Axe Runic Attacks – God of War Ragnarök

Winter’s Bite – Light Runic Attack

Winter’s Bite is the first Runic Attack you will gain for the Leviathan Axe. This can be found just by playing the story, specifically in the Surviving Fimbulwinter main quest.

Njord’s Tempest – Light Runic Attac

The next Runic Attack you can get is the Njord’s Tempest, however this can be missed as it can be found on Althojof’s Rig, which is part of a Favor. If you decide not to do the Favor, then you can miss out on this one.

Wrath of the Frost Ancient – Light Runic Attack

You can find the Wrath of the Frost Ancient in Vanaheim, specifically in The Southern Wilds.

Skadi’s Edge – Light Runic Attack

The fourth Light Runic Attack for the Leviathan Axe is in Alfheim, The Strond. This Runic Attack is called Skadi’s Edge.

Hel’s Touch – Light Runic Attack

The last Light Runic Attack we can get is Hel’s Touch, which can be found in Alfheim, The Burrows. However, you can only get it if you are doing the Song of the Sands Favor.

Fog of Fimbulwinter – Heavy Runic Attack

Now that we have gotten all of the Light Runic Attack, we can now move on to the Heavy Runic Attack. Just like the Light Runic Attacks, there are 5 of them scattered all over the realms. First on the list is Fog of Fimbulwinter, which can be found in the Myrkr Tunnels of Svartalfheim.

Ivaldi’s Anvil – Heavy Runic Attack

The second Heavy Runic Attack you can collect is Ivaldi’s Anvil. This Heavy Runic Attack can be found in The Derelict Outpost, which is located on Midgard.

Leviathan’s Roar – Heavy Runic Attack

The third Heavy Runic Attack on this list is the Leviathan’s Roar (which is probably the coolest name on the list). You can find this Runic Attack on Freyr’s Camp in Vanaheim.

Mists of Helheim – Heavy Runic Attack

The fourth Heavy Runic Attack for the Leviathan Axe is the Mists of Helheim Runic Attack. This can be found on the Cliffside Ruins in Vanaheim as well.

Breath of Thamus – Heavy Runic Attack

The last Heavy Runic Attack is hard to get, as it requires you to find all of Odin’s Ravens. Once you get all of Odin’s Ravens, then you go to The Raven Tree in Niflheim. There, you can find the Breath of Thamur Heavy Runic Attack in the chest on the right side, closest to the tree.
