Kratos, while an incredibly powerful being, does need some gear in order to fight monsters. While he can no doubt rip apart any monster with his bare hands, being able to survive a hit thanks to some armor or magical item is always welcome. In God of War Ragnarok, there are chests that contain certain items. Whether it’s to increase his Spartan Rage meter or his health, it’s important to look around your area and find these chests to see what’s inside them. In this guide, we will show you how to open the Nornir chest in the Burning Cliffs.
God Of War Ragnarok – Burning Cliffs Nornir Chest Solution
The first and easiest rune to destroy to unlock the Nornir chest is the one located above the chest.
After destroying the first rune, go back to where you came from and look to your right. You should see three pillars and a rune next to them. Use Freya’s arrows to create a line of explosive arrows, as your Blades of Chaos cannot reach the rune by itself. With the arrows lined up, use your Blades of Chaos to hit the nearest arrow and blow it up, creating a chain reaction that destroys the rune.
The last one also needs Freya’s arrows, but this time you can just use the brazier that is lit up next to the pillars. Similar to last time, line up the arrows, but shoot the last arrow at the brazier so it can instantly explode, creating a chain reaction that destroys the last rune. This unlocks the chest, which contains the Idunn Apple.
