If you are a new player you might be thinking that this is the support class that can heal up your companions and you should stay back. If that is the case, well you are in the right place because the Zealot is actually a hybrid mini-tank. Let’s see how you need to play it and what you’ll need to pick as skills.

Zealot Preacher Starter Class Guide | Warhammer 40K – Darktide

The Preacher, also called the Zealot, is indeed a very strong character on the front lines. It does have a lot of passives and skills that make it easier to get close to enemies, slash them, and overwhelm them with powerful attacks.

With this character, you’ll want to be in the lead as much as possible. You’re not really a tank character, but you do the most damage when you’re right in front of the enemies and touching them.

If you want to play as the Preacher, you need to have these skills. You can change them to your liking, and always make sure to pick the ones that let you heal and deal damage as much as possible from close range.

For your skills to work well, your main weapons should be the Thunder Hammer and the Purgation Flamer. You could also take the Eviscerator, which goes well with the ability to push. With them, you could go where there are a lot of enemies and stay put.

No matter what, you want to be the person who is close to the bad guys and even ahead of the main tank due to how fast and agile you are.

Although this character doesn’t look like it, you will really need to focus on being on the very front in every type of battle. Pick up the traits and the skills that will give you the most amount of power from up close and you should be good to go.

That’s all that you need to know about the Zealot Preacher Class. It is not a very hard class, to begin with but we do not recommend starting out with this one if you are new. A big thank you to Legacy Gaming from YouTube. Check him out here for more details.
