Pokemon Scarlet and Violet now have a better mode of transportation for you, trainers. Koraidon and Miraidon are the two new legendary Pokemon specific for the version you are playing in.

Basically, these two dragons, Miraidon and Koraidon, make your traveling faster and more convenient as you can run faster, climb complicated walls, glide, and even swim.

However, by the game’s start, your dragon’s only ability is running. As you progress in the game, you will have to defeat a particular titan in-game in order to unlock a specific ability.

How to Travel Across Water in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

The whole map area in the new Pokemon Scarlet and Violet has a vast area of water. In order to reach some areas on the other side, you will be required to cross the sea.

In order for your friend dragon to learn to surf on the water, you must first defeat the Open Sky Titan called the Bombirdier. After you defeat this titan, you can obtain an Herba Mystica to feed your dragon which will unlock its ability to swim.

Now that your Miraidon or Koraidon knows how to swim, you can freely get on the water and cross all bodies of water in the game.

From its basic form, it will adjust its body to be able to accommodate the needs in order to utilize its ability in surfing.
