Like most gyms in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, The Normal Gym in Medali requires you to accomplish a trial that enables you to unlock as well as battle with the Gym Leader.

It is said that the trial that awaits in the Normal Gym provides great confusion for players, that’s why this guide will help you soothe the headache and let you ravish the treasure that it awaits.

How to Solve the Secret Dish Trial

Once you go inside the Normal Gym, there will be a trial that you need to do in order to unlock the secret dish. 4 ingredients are needed that are located around the town and make sure that you are ready for a battle!

To start, you need to battle Adara the Student in order to unlock the grilled rice balls in the ice cream stand.

Second, you must engage in combat with Gisela The Student. After that, you must descend to the black gate next to Gisela and look for the word “Fire Blast.”

Finally, you will need to engage in combat with Santiago, the pupil who pointed out the Bluebird Pokemon that yelled the last hint, “Meedyum! Meedyum!”

With the three pieces of information in hand, proceed to the Treasury Eatery Restaurant to speak with the office worker who will inform you that “lemon” is the seasoning that every Medali regular uses.

Once you have all four clues, go to the restaurant and order these in the following order from the server wearing the green apron:

1. Grilled rice balls
2. Medium serving
3. Extra crispy, Fire blast style
4. Lemon

This will unlock the normal gym. Simply follow this guide to help you through the process.
