You are now able to become a very powerful wizard and a magician with the new Valheim Mistlands update. It is a very tricky thing to understand but very rewarding once you do so. In this guide, we will be helping you to better understand it. Let’s get started.
Full Magic Guide – Valheim Mistlands
Types Of Magic
There are 2 types of Magic in Valheim Mistlands:
- Blood Magic
- Elemental Magic
Each of them has a skill level that can be seen inside the Skills Menu bar. The main difference between them is the fact that blood magic will use a bit of your HP each time you cast a spell.
To be able to cast any of these spells and types of magic you shall need a resource or a new item by the name of Eitr.
Eitr For Spells Explained
The Eitr stat of a character or the resource is known as Refined Eitr. Consuming meals that contain eitr will allow you to unlock the character’s Eitr stat. Doing so will provide you with a violet eitr bar that functions in a manner similar to mana; however, utilizing magic will cause the eitr bar to drain.
You shall need to replenish it to be able to cast more spells. It is working just the same as any other type of game where you shall need to cast magic. Make sure that the violet or purple bar is higher so you can cast more of them.
Refined Eitr For Crafting Explained
On the other side, refined Eitr is a material that is used in the production of Eitr-related crafting stations as well as the creation of new weapons and armor, including magical ones.
Replenish Eitr
Find the Magecap mushrooms in the Mistlands; they glow blue and are glowing. Consuming them will result in the production of an EITR bar with 25 units, which is not a lot. On the other hand, you may prepare the following meals using Magecap by using a Cooking Station that has been upgraded to level 5:
- Minor Eitr Mead – 125 Eitr
- Seeker Aspic – 85 Eitr
- Yggdrasil Porridge – 80 Eitr
- Stuffed Mushroom – 75 Eitr
Craft Magic Items
These are the steps of how you are able to craft items that use and have Magic in them:
- To begin, make your way to the Mistlands and collect some Yggdrasil Wood. Because it is dropped by every Yggdrasil tree, even the smallest ones, finding one shouldn’t be too difficult
- The next step is to search one of several Dvergr villages for an Extractor of the Dvergr. Crates are often used to conceal it. Once you have collected both of these materials, you will be able to unlock the crafting technique for the Sap Extractor
- The second to last step is the Yggdrasill roots. Since they have blazing green veins running through them. When you approach near to the old root, a notification will appear notifying you that it “is throbbing with energy,” once you reach that point. After positioning the Workbench and the Sap Extractor, you should wait for some time.
- Eitr Refinery is the last step. To discover Black Core, you will need to go inside an Infested Mine, which is a dungeon located in the Mistlands. When the Eitr Refinery has been constructed in its entirety, you may begin adding a few precious Yggdrasil Sap. In addition to that, you need to feed Soft Tissue into the machine via the valve on the top.
And that’s all that that you’ll need to know! Now You will be able to craft all the magical items as well as have a way of how you can use the spells and replenish your Eitr. Congratulations!
