We all love it when we discover some reference to another game in the game we’re playing. Some games try to hide it and are easter eggs that the players can hunt and find. Some of these references are often just call outs to different games, a nice little message from the developers to the other developers. Some games raise it up a notch by adding items that players can use, like the Notched Pickaxe from Skyrim. In Dead Cells there’s a lot of references you can find and in this guide we’ll show you how to unlock Starfury Sword and Guide’s Outfit, references to Terraria.
Dead Cells: How To Unlock Terraria’s Starfury & Guide’s Outfit
That’s right, the new update to Dead cells just added another reference to popular indie games and this time it’s Terraria. You can get the Starfury sword and even the Guide’s Outfit. You remember the Guide from Terraria, the guy that often dies at the start of the game because you’re still learning how to make a wall. This is how you get these items in the game.
Starfury Sword
At the start of each run the first area you’re in will always spawn a lore room has a reference to another game. Just keep on starting runs and finding these rooms until you find the Terraria themed room. There you can unlock the Starfury!
Guide’s Outfit
For this one you’ll need to at least finish a full run on normal and defeat The Hand of the King. You’ll also need a backpack. Then pick a full set of starting items and make sure to place one of them inside your backpack. Head right and enter the hole on the wall.
Then all you need to do is drop a weapon by swapping it with the item in your backpack, use the Homonculus rune to grab the item and drop it into the Lava and that will unlock the Guide’s Outfit!
