Crisis Core Final Fantasy 7 is a beloved entry to the universe of Final Fantasy 7. Players will remember the incredibly emotional story of the game and its… very depressing ending. In the tail end of 2022, Crisis Core Final Fantasy 7 Reunion is released. This game remasters the beloved PSP game for modern consoles and PC. With the release of the game, players who previously missed out on this masterpiece can now experience all it has to offer, as well as its many secrets. In this guide, we’ll show you how to find all Chapter 1 collectibles and trophies.
Chapter 1 All Collectibles & Trophies Guide – Crisis Core Final Fantasy 7 Reunion
In the entirety of Chapter 1, there is only one trophy to collect, and it is called “Hero of The Wutai War?”. This trophy can only be obtained by finding all 16 encounters when you are in the Wutai castle and winning the fights. Almost half of these encounters are hidden, which is why it’s an easy to miss trophy.
Bear in mind that when you enter the Wutai castle, you will automatically have one encounter finished. This guide will show you the other 15 encounters not including the first one.

Shortly after the talk with Angeal, you will encounter two Foulanders. Use Blizzard on them as they are weak against that attack.

Continuing further will result in another encounter against Wuitai soldiers and Foulander.

Shortly after the last fight, you will then encounter a group of Wutai soldiers. There will be an orange one with them, which is a Wuitai Sergeant. They’re a little stronger, but not that much.

After progressing further, you will get a cutscene of three Wutai soldiers shooting at you, making Zack take cover behind the wall.
Going back will then trigger another cutscene that shows a group of enemies coming out of the walls.

After defeating the last encounter of enemies, continue forward until you see a chest in the middle of the path. It is very obviously a trap, but you need to open it and trigger the trap in order to get the encounter.

From the last encounter, continue until you reach this area. There will be another cutscene playing that will show two Foulander enemies attacking you.

Immediately after defeating the last group of enemies, continue until you reach the area with the tower. Another cutscene will play where a group of enemies surround Zack.

Continue forward until you get a cutscene where Zack is being shot at again. You will get a choice to either charge forward or find a different route. Select the second option.
Backtrack until you find this wall on the right. Approach it and a small cutscene will play where Zack ambushes the group and defeats them, but the Wutai Sergeant runs away. This counts as the eight encounter.

At this point, you will have fought all of the normal encounters, as you will reach the end of the area. Now is the time to backtrack and look for the hidden encounters. After the cutscene where Zack ambushes the Wutai soldiers, look at the wall and you will see an orange prompt on it.
This will trigger your first hidden encounter against a group of enemies. Defeat them and you will get a call saying that there are hidden enemies around you in revolving doors, and will then advise you to thoroughly search the area for other hidden enemies.

After the last encounter, go to the tower that you can see after the call ends. This will trigger another encounter. After the fight ends, you’ll get another call warning you to check the towers as well.

Move to this area right next to the tower. You will get another encounter against enemies.

Right next to the last encounter, there will be another revolving door. Interact with it to get another encounter.

Backtrack a bit more until you see another revolving door with the orange prompt. This one is after you go past two revolving doors.

Near the beginning of the area, there will be a tower that you couldn’t interact with at first. Go back and interact with it now, since you can check towers for enemies now.

Once you have defeated the enemies at the first tower, go back to the end of the area and you will get one last encounter. Defeat them, and you will have occupied the fort. You will get the trophy later once you have completed the mission in the forest.
