There’s a criminal lack of pirate games these days and that should be fixed as fast as possible. We all love a good pirate game, Assassin’s Creed Black Flag taught us that, as well as other classic games like Sid Meier’s Pirates! That is still one of the best pirate games there are. Saying that game released back in 2004 if still one of the better games in the genre is just sad, luckily for us there are some pirate games out there on the horizon that’s being developed, and one of them is Pirate’s Dynasty.
Here Is What To Expect In This Dynasty Game – Pirate’s Dynasty
Some of you may have seen this game through the trailer that they’ve made. I’m using the word “trailer” here lightly since all it showed was an animated image and some words, no gameplay, now pre-rendered cutscenes, just a gif and some words. As you may have guessed, it wasn’t received well with a lot of commentors making fun of this trailer. The trailer didn’t really show anything about the game, what it did show though is a text saying to wishlist it on steam!
Going through steam you can see some images of what the game actually looks like along with the description of the game. You can also see that the game is being published by Toplitz Productions, the same publishers for games like Medieval Dynasty, Farmer’s Dynasty and Lumberjack’s Dynasty so you can see where the name came from.
There’s no gameplay videos of Pirate’s Dynasty yet at the time of writing but they do have some plans for the game. They plan the game to be Co-op, with a procedurally generated world where you fight, survive and thrive. They say you can modify your ship and even create pirate bases into fully fledged towns.
As of now it seems like the game is still in early development to really see what the game is about. These words they throw in the description may be what the game actually offers but without any gameplay videos we really can’t tell. One thing’s for sure though, it’s a game worth keeping an eye on since we need more pirate games!
