World of Warcraft features a lot of achievements that you can do that essentially just makes you feel good that you are doing something in the game. A lot of these achievements are hard and challenging, requiring the most powerful gear to fight. But there are others that don’t really require much, and can be actually quite fun. One such achievement is the Petty Theft Mammoth, which is a fun little achievement you can do where you have to bring 4 Magmammoths to Tavok in under 5 minutes. If you need help getting this achievement, then follow this guide.

Petty Theft Mammoth Achievement Guide – WoW

Before you start, please bear in mind that the Magmammoths are currently bugged. Players are reporting that they cannot mount the Magmammoths after clicking on them repeatedly. If this happens to you, you will need to type “/reload” in chat to undo the bug. This is only temporary, so you might need to do it for each Magmammoth.

Magmammoth Locations

In no particular order, you can find and bring back all 4 Magmammoths to Tavok to get the achievement. However, once you mount a Magmammoth, you will have 5 minutes to bring the Magmammoth back to Tavok. The timer resets every time you mount the Magmammoth, but you will also need to find the Magmammoth again.,

You can find a Magmammoth here in the Burning Ascent, right next to the lava lake.

The next Magmammoth you can find is behind the Dragonsbane Keep, which is located right next to the lava lake again.

The next Magmammoth can be found in the Smoldering Perch area. Specifically, facing a lava waterfall.

The last Magmamoth to get should be the one in Scalecracker Keep. This one can be a bit difficult, as it is the farthest from Tavok. But you should be able to get there with a minute to spare if you don’t stop for anything and take shortcuts.

Once you have brought all four Magmammoths, then you will get the Petty Theft Mammoth achievement.
