There’s a lot of creepypastas out there in the internet, and some of them were pretty famous. Creepypastas like Slenderman or even the huge SCP genre of horror got their own games and now the backrooms has a lot of games being made for it. One of the games is Escape the Backrooms and it features a lot of levels that you can go through, some of them easy while others are hard. The Power Station is regarded is one of the more annoying and difficult levels in the game and in this guide we’ll show you how the level goes.
Power Station Guide: Escape The Backrooms
When you spawn in the level you’ll have to run around the different rooms looking for electrical boxes like the one pictured below. You then need to press every single switch on to activate it. That’s the main thing you’ll be looking for around the level.
These electrical boxes don’t all look the same though, as some of them are vertical and have different designs which makes it harder for you to look at them. Here’s an example of another electrical box shown below.
Not just the Electrical boxes but there’s also puzzle boxes like the one shown below. In this puzzle you need to rotate each of them so that the pins are pointing at the same colors to emit an electrical arc and complete the puzzle.
Some of the puzzles are quite simple though like the ones that just lets you match the colors of the wires. The problem lies with the things around the level that makes your life a bit harder.
While you’re looking around he level you’ll also see these monstrous hounds, they’re fast and noisy and your only defense against them is to use your flashlight on them to stun them momentarily. Don’t stay for too long though since they’ll get to you sooner or later, use the doors to block their way.
Once you finish all of the electrical boxes the place will light up. Don’t let your guard down since there are still hounds around. All you need to do now is go find the exit shown on the image below. You’ll know it’s the right door if it has a light above it.
