Genshin Impact’s new update means more story for those who are invested in it. While the game is mostly known for its gacha mechanics and characters, Genshin Impact does contain a very interesting story that you can sink hours into just by playing it. Of course, along the way, the game throws puzzles at you that will test your intelligence and persistence in completing said puzzles. However, if you don’t the time or patience, then this guide can help you solve at least one of those puzzles.
Genshin Impact – Find Another Way To Enter The Central Area
An Alternate Route to the Central Area
When you get the objective to find another way to the central area, head inside the room and you will see a large chasm in the middle. Move around the chasm and go up to this console and interact with it. A small cutscene will play out and Paimon will say something about the mechanism being able to adjust the direction of the sand.
After the small cutscene, go to this mechanism on the left and interact with it. This will open a door that you need to go through.
Go through the door and take a left, you will see a large room with some enemies inside. Move to the left and you will see what looks like a console that once interacted, the force field blocking the path before is now down.
Go up to the mechanism again and interact with it and Paimon will note that the flow of the sand has changed. Now, go back to the mechanism that didn’t work before.
Interact with this one and the structure in front of you will glow, and the force field to the right will disappear. Make sure the cell is facing right in the direction of where the force field was.
Head to this area and take the lift down.
Once the lift stops, get off it and head to the large room. In the middle should be another mechanism. Interact with it to turn it on.
With the mechanism on, go to this cell and rotate it so the beam hits the other cell. This will then open another door.
Before going to the door, make sure to use the mechanism to rotate the valve and open the wall. This will allow the cell that’s near the newly opened door to be able to reach the cell on the other side of the wall.
Once you have both cells connected, head inside the room and interact with the cubed mechanism that will open the door, revealing an alternate path to the central area.
