How To Open Doors Or Interact With Stuff With The Wolf Dog Icon In Forspoken

What does the wolf dog icon mean?

Forspoken is one of the newest games out there released by Square Enix and it had a rough announcement and launch. The announcement trailer was filled with comments from people saying how cringy the writing is, while the launch showed how badly optimized the game was.

Still, for the people who got to enjoy the game, there are some things that can be a bit confusing that the game doesn’t explain or you may have just missed the explanation.

In this guide, we’ll show you how to interact with items with the Wolf Dog Icon in the game.

Forspoken: Open Doors Or Interact Using The Wolf Dog Icon

Some games have these grand tutorials that teach you about the game, and when they introduce a new mechanic into the game later they usually go with either text dumps or teaching you on the go.

Sometimes the game doesn’t explain certain things though, or perhaps you may have missed the tutorial message or accidentally skipped it and now you don’t know.

One of the things you may encounter in Forspoken is the Wolf Dog Icon on interactable things like items or doors.

This wolf dog icon with a lock at the bottom prevent you from interacting with something.

It appears when there are enemies nearby, so you need to make sure the area is clear of enemies and you’re not in combat anymore to interact with this item.

I know, it’s a bit confusing, maybe they should have just gone with the old “You can’t interact with this item while in combat” pop-up.

Congratulations you now know how to interact with an item if you see this icon above them. Remember to clear the area of enemies first!

Many thanks to GamersHeroes for showing everyone how to do this, if you need more information on the subject then go check their YouTube video out!
