The new Pokemon games, Scarlet and Violet, have been a blast to play for most people. Despite it having some memes on performance and bug issues on release, it’s still a great Pokemon game to play.
Now with the introduction of Raid events, you can even get new Pokemon that are not originally from that region and one of the newest is Greninja.
In this guide, we’ll show you how to get Froakie by using Greninja in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, for those who want to try out for a shiny Pokemon!
Pokémon Scarlet and Violet: How To Get & Catch Froakie & Greninja
The newest addition to Scarlet and Violet is the new 7-Star Tera Raid that gives you a chance to get a Greninja. All you need to do is unlock that level of Tera Raids and look for the event raid to try and get it.
Of course, Greninja doesn’t start off as just Greninja but instead as Froakies.
You can actually get your own Froakie by getting Greninja from the 7-Star Tera Raids and breeding it with a Ditto. The resulting egg will then give you a Froakie!
You can then repeat this until you get a shiny one and level it up and evolve it to get the Shiny Variants of the evolutions as well if you like collecting Pokemon like that!
