The biggest thing that you need to know about the statues is to activate the Lumos spell. Once you cast that, you will start to see a certain pattern in the middle of the ground. Just follow the pattern until the other patterns start appearing.
You need to come exactly to the same point where all of these 3 patterns and lines coming from the knights meet up. Once you stand as shown in the picture above for a while, the knights will come to life.
Now the next step will be to actually go into battle with the knights and take them down. As you keep taking them down, more and more will keep appearing from the outer circle. The key is to just defeat them all and the puzzle will be completed. Congratulations!
