One of the biggest hyped games since last year has finally released and it’s Hogwarts Legacy. Finally, Harry Potter fans get to experience being a student in Hogwarts, with their own story to follow and mysteries to unfold. It’s a surprise that we haven’t had such a game back then with how big the books and movies were but now we have and it’s looking pretty awesome. There are a lot of quests you can do in this game and in this guide we’ll show you how to do a part of the quest in the game.
Hogwarts Legacy: Where to Find the Book
The quest we’re talking about is the one called “Secrets of the Restricted Section.” It’s half a stealth mission and the other half is a combat mission so be ready for some fun. This is also the part where you get the Invisibility spell “Disillusionment” from, a spell that will be very useful in the future.
The first part of the quest is quite easy, all you need to do is cast the spell and follow the waypoints shown on the map.
You’ll get to the section where there’s ghosts that watch the place for any trespassers. With the spell you can just go past them, even walking directly in front of them!
At one point you’ll get to the ghost that blocks your way, you’ll need to do a basic spell attack on a nearby place to catch the ghost’s attention. You can do so by aiming and doing an attack. Once the ghost investigates the point of impact, go past them.
From this point you don’t need to go invisible anymore. You’ll also meet Peeves and a quick cutscene will play out.
Once the cutscene is over, use Reparo to repair the armor that’s blocking your way.
Continue following the waypoints until you see a trace of ancient magic, investigate it by going up to it and interacting with it. It’ll activate the mirror in the middle of the room and you’ll need to go through it.
In the next section you’ll need to follow the waypoints again, this time you’ll need to attack the tops of the arches to spawn the bridge when you encounter a gap.
There will also be areas where there’s sentries you need to fight, defeat them to continue through the level.
Once you reach the part shown below you’ll know that you’re close to the book. Defeat the enemies in the area and go through the doors.
There you’ll find the book and a cutscene will play when you interact with it!
