Hogwarts Legacy’s large open world is divided into multiple regions which you can see on your map at any time. One such region is the Poidsear Coast, found on the southern half of the game’s world.

Much like the rest of the game’s world, it’s full of mysteries, secrets, and treasures to find.

If you wish to reach the Poidsear Coast to explore it, this quick guide should help you out.

Poidsear Coast is a region in the southern half of the game’s map and can be reached through the South Sea Bog region. You can go there as soon as free roam becomes available after the introduction.

You can only reach the area on foot, as a large mountain blocks the way, and it’s way too tall to fly over with your Broomstick or mount.

Instead, you’ll need to go through the tunnel on the southern base of the mountain called the Coastal Cavern. Be prepared to fight or flee, however, as there are many enemies in the area.

The image above shows the location of the Coastal Cavern’s entrance on the map.

The first thing you’ll notice when you reach the base of the mountain is a medium Bandit camp full of goblins and trolls. Survey the area and you’ll notice a tunnel on the edge of the mountain.

Make your way to the tunnel while avoiding or fighting the enemies along the way until you enter a facility. This is the Coastal Cavern.

Much like the camp outside the tunnel, the Coastal Cavern is full of enemies. Again, you’ll have to either fight or avoid them.

Keep making your way through the Coastal Cavern, following the only path available and you’ll eventually find an exit to the tunnel.

As soon as you reach the exit, you’ll trigger the East South Sea Bog Floo Flame for fast travel.

Now you can keep going down the path on the mountainside until you reach the Poidsear Coast. Alternatively, you can get on your Broomstick or mount and fly down.

Whichever option you choose, you’ll now have reached the Poidsear Coast!
