One of the newest and largest quests that will have you running errands for Olaf is The Great Blizzard.

In this guide, we shall guide your path and way around the many tasks that will be given to you in simple and very easy-to-understand steps. Let’s get started and get to face this great incoming blizzard.

Disney Dreamlight Valley – The Great Blizzard Quest Guide

You shall first need to talk to a bunch of NPCs to be able to get the quest up and going.

Find Merlin by opening the map and looking for his icon. Once you consult with him, you’ll start going through the difficult tasks.

Search For Clues Around The Blizzard

You are going to need to go run around the Frosted Heights and basically on the right side of the region.

Get to the same place as shown in the picture above and interact with the new wall and door added there. Once you get inside, you can find Olaf. Talk to him too.

Search For The Scary Squirrels

The black squirrels can be found all over the place and they are pretty random, so we cannot give you an exact location. You will know when you see one.

Simply run directly into them and you are able to finish the task given to you. You will need to find a total of 4.

Once this task is done, you shall need to go to Elsa inside the restaurant and talk to her. She will give you another task to complete.

Investigate The Pillar In Frosted Heights

The map location will be given to you and you just need to follow it.

This pillar will be inside the Froster Heights. Simply get next to it and take out your watering can. Now just pour water on the shiny place and not inside the pillar itself.

Once this task is done, go back to Elsa and explain what just happened.

Then just go back to Olaf in the dark cave and use the watering can to pour some water on the same exact spots.

Pick Up The Books

Once you talk to Olaf again he will give you a task to find some books. These books are inside the very same cave in which Olaf is.

Simply walk into the corridor and you can find 2 books that you need.

Gather The Following Items

Once all that is done, you will need to collect a couple of items for Olaf again.

These are all of them and the instructions on how you can get them:

  • Glass – you will need to have sand, which you can obtain from the beach, and coal ore, which you can mine around the world. Then just craft Glass from these items
  • Purified Night Shard – you will need Night Shard and Dream Shard. Then you go to the crafting station and just craft the Purified Night Shard
  • Shattered Prism – you can find them in the secret chamber or the dark cave

Now once you have all of them, simply head to a crafting station and craft the Dreamlight Prism.

Figure Out The Gems

These are all of the colors that you need to place on these pillars to get the correct diamond.

Simply pick up all the diamonds and jades that you might have competed with, and try all of them until one of them gets accepted. It is a little bit tricky but just find the correct color and you’ll be good.

Talk To Olaf & Place The Orb

You shall need to talk to Olaf once again to give him his arms back. Now just take the orb and bring it into the pillar and place the orb inside. This will get the quest complete. Congratulations!

We hope that this guide has helped you out in completing this very long The Great Blizzard quest. Have fun doing it yourself!
