Since the start of Slime Rancher 2 during early access the game has caught some traction with thousands of players enjoying this cute and cozy game. Now that the first game is finished and the second game is in early access, people are waiting for the new updates of the sequel and now we have it!
The new update is called Song of the Saber and it adds a new map along with new slimes, one of which is the Saber Slimes, lovable slimes with big saber teeth! Of course, since this is Slime Rancher there’s also a Gordo version of it and in this guide, we’ll show you where to find this big guy!
Slime Rancher 2 – Saber Gordo Location
In Slime Rancher 2, there are normal slimes that are small in size and you can pick them up and throw them into your ranch. Then there are Gordo Slimes which are huge cute slimes that block off sections of the map!
Usually, they’re bigger versions of normal slimes and you feed them a lot of food to make them blow up, don’t worry they don’t get hurt they just turn into a bunch of smaller slimes!
The Saber Gordo can be found in the northern parts of Powderfall Bluffs, all you need to do is go to the area shown in the image above and jump the gap and keep heading north.
Keep an eye out to the left until you find the waterfall shown below.
Jump into the waterfall and you’ll stumble across a cave, directly after going in you’ll see a geyser and you can use it to boost up!
Once you boost up you can then get on top of the platform where the Saber Gordo is!
Now all you need to do is give it a ton of meat and it’ll unlock the portal below it!
Congratulations you now know where to find the Saber Gordo in Slime Rancher 2, now go out there and try to go there yourself!
