Survival games like Sons of the Forest is a bit unforgiving for the players depending on the difficulty that you’re going to pick. Not only that, but you’re going to encounter cannibal monsters. You will also strive to survive in the wilderness and for that, you need to be prepared and well equipped.
Today, we’re going to talk about Quick Equip, how to use it and how useful it is when playing Sons of the Forest.
Sons Of The Forest: How to Quick Equip Items
Hence, the first action you should take is to press “I” on your keyboard, which indicates your inventory.
If you check your control mapping in the game’s options or settings, you’ll also find it there.
After pressing your inventory hotkey, you will see the crafting menu. Click on the backpack at the top of the menu to add items to your backpack.
If you have anything handy, such as a weapon like a spear or an axe, just click on those items.
Right click to add it there once the bag has been added to your screen and is seen sitting on the crafting mat.
That is how you organize your Quick Slot Menu.
Keep in mind that you can only have two weapons equipped at once. You can also add healing items and other goods, but there is a limit to the number of items that can fit there.
If you press and hold the “I” key on your keyboard, you simply bring up your backup.
After you’ve done so, you may hover your mouse over any items you want to carry or use. If you want to use another weapon or item, you can do the same by pressing and holding the “I” hotkey.
