In every video game, we don’t forget how powerful a chainsaw is. From Left 4 Dead to Dead Rising! It’s actually a handy type of weapon that can rip your enemies apart and there are even games where you can throw a chainsaw and it’ll rip your enemies apart, sounds cool right?
And if you guys are having a problem finding a chainsaw in Sons of the Forest don’t worry we got your back on this as we’ll tell you where to find it!
Sons of the Forest – Chainsaw Location
The first thing you’ll need to do is use your GPS to locate this specific location. It is surrounded by trees and has plenty of greenery; it doesn’t have many rock slabs, and you can see that there is a large stretch of ocean to the southeast of the map.

As you get there, you’ll find what looks like a dungeon entrance; enter it, but be sure to have your flashlight or torch ready because it will get dark inside.
While you’re inside the dungeon, just keep moving forward and the area will change into what appears to be a facility. When you get to this room, turn left and continue moving forward until you enter another room.
When you get to the area of the door with the keycard authenticator, simply press “E” on your keyboard, and your maintenance keycard will be used automatically.
Turn left and continue walking after you enter what appears to be another room of a gym.
Use the stairs to the second floor once you get to this area of the room since that is where we will find the chainsaw we’re looking for.
As soon as you reach the second floor, keep going straight. When you turn to your right, a door with a keycard authenticator will be seen. To interact with it, simply press the E key on your keyboard and the door will open.
There will be a lot of dead bodies in that room after you enter there, and you might run into some cannibals, so be sure to get your weapon ready if you have one in case they attack you.
Just keep going straight after entering this room, then turn to your left when you reach another room; enter that room to proceed.
You’ll see a lot of beanbags and a giant TV when you enter that room, and there may be some vicious cannibals inside, so get your weapon ready to bash their heads!
To get the chainsaw, simply approach the body in the room where it was stabbed with a chainsaw and press E on your keyboard.
And that is how you acquire a chainsaw in Sons of the Forest. To unequip the chainsaw, simply press I on your keyboard, locate it in your inventory, and select unequip.
