In Sons of the Forest, you will need to make do with what you have in order to survive. The island is full of mysterious monsters that want to kill you (and maybe eat you), so you have a lot of things to worry about from monsters to lack of food and water, to no weapons, and more.
However, you will eventually get those as you learn to play the game. One thing you should definitely look into is the several armors you can get.
In this guide, we will show you how to get 6 different armor.
Sons Of The Forest – All 6 Armor Locations
Creepy and Bone Armor
Getting the Creepy and Bone Armor is very easy, but let’s start with the Creepy Armor. To get it, all you have to do is kill monsters and skin them.
There’s no set number of monsters you need to skin, but just keep checking your inventory and you should see the Creepy Armor after you have skinned enough monsters.
For the Bone Armor, you will need to craft it using 4 Bones, a Rope, and Duct Tape.
This one is fairly easy as Bones can be found pretty much everywhere, along with Rope and Duct Tape. Once you have the required materials, just craft it and you are good to go.
Leaf Armor
The next armor you can craft is the Leaf Armor. Just like the name says, you will need to get Leaves, specifically 10 and 1 Cloth in order to craft it.
Hide Armor
The next armor is the Hide Armor, crafted out of 2 Animal Hide and 1 Cloth.
You don’t really need to find a specific animal hide for this. You can craft this with either a Deer or Moosehide. As long as it’s a hide from an animal, you can craft it.
Tech Armor
The Tech Armor is a little complicated. This one will need 1 Wire, 1 Circuit Board, 1 Duct Tape, 1 Battery, and 1 Tech Mesh.
The first 4 materials can be found pretty much everywhere on the island, but the Tech Mesh needs to be 3D Printed. You will need to find a 3D Printer with 250 Resins in it in order to proceed with the 3D Printing.
Once you have the Tech Mesh, then you can craft the Tech Armor.
Golden Armor
Unlike the previous 5 armors, the Golden Armor is the only armor in the game that cannot be crafted and must be found.
You can find the cave entrance where the Golden Armor is on the map here (refer to the image above) or you can use our interactive map of the Sons of the Forest.
You will need to have the Maintenance Keycard in order to access the Maintenance Area and look for the Golden Armor, which should be here in a recreational room.
