In the depths of the sea, where the world is dark and treacherous, lies a game that will take you on a journey you’ll never forget. DREDGE, the game of daring fishermen braving the dangers of the open waters, will have you hooked from the very first cast of your line. There are items in this game that make you go: “Whaat?” and research parts is one of them. Anyways, here’s how to use research parts in DREDGE!
How To Use Research Parts – DREDGE
- Dock your boat at the nearest dock.
- Once the menu pops up, click on the COG icon – which is the “Research” menu next to the undock and rest buttons.
- Here you can choose what you spend the research parts on. These are basically items which are not yet available for you in the shop. Once you spend enough research parts to unlock an item, it should become available at the Shipwright.
- Use “Q” or “E” to move between the tabs and choose the different upgrade categories!
These research parts are a vital mechanic in DREDGE. I had the misfortune of using up mine on stupid upgrades because I wasn’t really aware that they’re that scarce. Anyways, be very picky on what you spend them on.
