As you progress through the Khvarena of Good and Evil questline you’ll eventually be tasked with finding Three Kory Drums around Gavireh Lajavard, an easy enough task until you remember that you’re looking for musical instruments in the middle of a desert.
The map is quite large in Genshin Impact, and it doesn’t have plans of getting any smaller. You’ll take hours looking for these even if a waypoint is provided! You can skip all of that and save yourself the trouble of searching by looking through this Kory Drum location guide, hope you don’t mind going for a swim.
All 3 Kory Drums Locations | Genshin Impact
To get the Kory Drums, you’ll have to complete a set of trials first that’s been scattered across the new region. These would be the Trial of Submerged Waves, Ferocious Thunder, and Fluorescent Flame.
You’ll be able to begin these challenges by interacting with the bells placed within the area where the drums are.
Kory Drum #1
Your first Kory drum will be located deep in the Asipattravana Swamp, follow the quest marker going down and go further into the cave below.
At the end of a tunnel will be another section that’s submerged in water. Start the trial by interacting with the bell and collecting the Dendro particles that will appear.
Finish all the trials for the water to go down all the way to the lower levels and keep following the waypoint. Once you get near the drum a few enemies will pop up, these can be ignored completely so just move along inside and take what’s rightfully yours.
Kory Drum #2
The second location will have you travel west of the Vourukasha Oasis, there’s a statue that can be used there for fast traveling.
The waypoint will lead you down a few meters into a ravine and eventually into another cave. Again there’s only one path that needs to be treaded on so no reason to get lost!
The Trial of Ferocious Thunder is much easier as you only have to slay a few opponents for a limited amount of time, the Kory drum can also be seen right behind the bell. You can’t interact with it until you pass the trial though.
Kory Drum #3
The Last Kory Drum can be found right in front of the bell that starts the Trial of Fluorescent Flame. Follow Sorush and light up all seven of the Bright Flame Altars around the area to pass the trial.
Pick up the Kory Drum after every altar has been lit ablaze, after that you can proceed with the quest by going to the giant tree, now get the drums for yourself and learn to perform alongside a 4/4 string ostinato with it!
