In this guide, we will show you how to complete the Cauldron Theta in Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores.

Cauldron Walkthrough
The entrance of the Cauldron can be found here, on the east side of the map. It is easily accessible by flying in with a flying mount.
Once you are close enough to the entrance, hop off the flying mount and glide the rest of the way in.
After landing on the ground, head to this door to override it and enter.
In the next room, you will need to cross the gap. Use the geyser on the right as a way to get some air when you glide.
Landing on the other platform, you will find a lot of machines. It’s best to take them out before doing anything else, as they will just annoy you while you are working.
Climb up to the area on the right and you should find a Network Uplink. Override it to create a bridge between the two areas.
After creating the bridge, go and grab the purple crate and drag it to the other side. Be careful, as more machines will spawn in to take you down once you reach the other side.
Since there is no bridge to drag the crate to the other side, you will need to shoot down a canister from this machine in order to use the geyser it produces to glide to the other side.
Landing on the other platform, override the Network Uplink again to create a bridge to drag the crate again.
Drag the create up to this platform and place it there. You will need to wait for the machine with the canisters to come by again and shoot a canister off to glide to the platform across.
You will have to fight off machines when you reach the platform across from you. Once they have been dispatched, override the Network Uplink again to create a bridge.
Drag the crate and place it on the plate to keep the door open. Go through the door to proceed to the next area.
Keep going until you have to zipline down.
Once you are on the ground, you will have to get on this platform and maneuver it around.
Eventually, you will reach a force field that stops you from continuing. Climb up to the side of the wall to proceed.
At the top, you will need to wait until a platform passes by. Once it does, jump on it and then quickly jump to the other platform.
Proceed through the door until you reach this room. The way to continue is way up above. To get up there, you will need to wait until a machine carrying canisters comes back around. Shoot one canister down and use it to propel yourself to the platform.
Once at the top, head to the door and override it so you can continue.
Continue forward, and you will find yourself in a room full of Stingspawn eggs. Most of them will hatch, so you will need to fight them and defeat them. Once you have defeated all of them, head to the door and override it to continue.
Proceed through the door and you will rappel down. Once you land, you will then have to jump down again to reach a node. Override it to take down the force field.
Go back to the platform and move it forward to continue through the Cauldron.
When you reach this area, you will need to glide down between the stalagmites and continue into the Cauldron by gliding through the hole.
Gliding through the hole, you will find the Core. Override it and you will have to face the Apex Bilegut, which is the boss of the Cauldron. It works just like any Bilegut, but more aggressive and it will hit harder.
Once the Apex Bilegut is down, override the Core and you will complete Cauldron Theta.
