Long missions can sometimes have a series of objectives that can be quite misleading or downright confusing.  You will encounter such an objective right in the middle of the “To: The Faint Star” Adventure mission.

Think of this Honkai Star Rail mission as if you were doing sleuth work. Most of it will involve interacting with terminals and a lot of talking. Look at the guide if you want to know what else needs to be done with this quest. It’s as simple as hunting down a Warp Trotter!

Identify the Mastermind

Your target NPC for this specific objective will be Bernard. If you remember, he’s the guy standing to Rocky in the Master Control Room of the Herta Space Station. Make your way to him after you finish your business in the monitoring room. The fastest way to get to Bernard is by using the Watcher Zone fast travel point.

After reviewing the footage from the monitor control panel, Bernard will be exposed as the mastermind of the quest. Talk to him in the Master Control Room and he will try to justify his actions. He will go on a monologue and tell you how much of a busybody you are as well.

Once you show him the proof you collected, he will give you a red USB. This is the Signal Log that you need to show to Rocky to finish the entirety of the quest. To finish the quest, just talk to him and choose whether to tell the truth or lie.

Here we have Alexis, he's been gaming ever since the second Famicom came out. Which is probably the reason why he goes back to platformers every now and then. Somewhere down the line he started getting more and more fascinated about looking at maps change colors for three to eight hours straight. If he's not out strategizing and beating the life out of his space bar in that order there's a good chance you can find him playing an FPS or talking someone's ear out about how game balance gets in the way of realism. You can tell that he really likes getting the full experience of whatever he gets his hands on.
