There are some quests in Honkai Star Rail that sound easy enough to do. However, some other quests have a good chance of slowing down players due to the amount of objectives given. Sensitive Beings is one of them as you’ll be running around Herta Space Station a lot. Adding to all of this are the places within the station that are locked. Making it a challenge to move from place to place.
If you already have Sensitive Beings on your Adventure Missions tab then give this guide a whirl. We’ll walk you through the entire mission, now let’s see what Asta needs your help with!
Sensitive Beings I Guide
In order to complete the Sensitive Beings (I) quest you’ll have to help Asta investigate the Herta Space Station. You have to reach Trailblazer Level 13 first if you want the quest line to become available. Meet those requirements and you will receive a text message from Crackup Conch allowing you to start the quest. To begin, go to the Master Control Zone of the Herta Space Station.
Speak to Asta and choose the dialog option that says “I heard you are looking for me?” She will inform you that the Crackup Conch has been infected by the memetic virus. Find out more by talking to her. She’ll let you know about the three people you need to investigate. These people would be Mare, Chris, and Joanne. All from different departments throughout the Herta Space Station.
After talking to Asta, your objectives will be updated. Now you need to investigate all three people for “unusual behavior.” Start with Mare as she’s in the same room with you and Asta. Go behind the vending machine and listen to her dialog discretely.
Mare doesn’t have much to offer for now. Your next target is going to be Chris. He’s quite easy to find as he’s in the same room. Just cross the Central Passage Space Anchor to get to him.
Go behind the archway to listen in on what Chris has to say. You’ll get caught peeping by the way. He has issues clearly. Thankfully, all of this is part of the quest. Listen to his dialog to continue.
Your next destination is the Base Zone, use the Reception Center Space Anchor to fast travel to the area. Your target Joanne will be on the upper levels.
Go up the stairs and make a right turn at the top, there’s only one doorway that leads into the next room.
After arriving in the medical bay, listen in on what Joanne has to say. After finishing the dialog, go back and report your findings to Asta. Use the Central Passage again to get back to the Master Control Zone.
Talk to Asta and choose the dialog option that says “Tell her your observation and your thoughts.” She’ll tell you to go to the Terminal Room next.
You can find the Terminal Room within the Supply Zone. The closest Space Anchor you can use will be the one that says Spare Parts Warehouse. Teleport in, walk down the hallway, and turn right into the square rooms shown on the map.
Next thing you can do is interact with the terminal in the second square room.
The maintenance engineer will appear after you finish investigating the terminal, you can go and talk to him to continue. This will spawn you back in the first room, go back into the second room to do a puzzle.
The puzzle will require you to activate all of the squares. Use the teleporters on both ends of the puzzle to complete the objective. Below is a chart you can follow along with the path you need to take to get all of the squares to light up.
You will get some Bountiful Treasure at the end of the puzzle for your efforts. Investigate the panel again to check Mare’s data record.
Investigate the panel again to get the records of the other staff members. Talk to the Maintenance Engineer one more time to finish the Sensitive Beings (I) quest!
