Item labels can be misleading in Tears of the Kingdom, or any Zelda game for that matter. Sometimes the description on the tin is too good of a deal to believe in right off the bat. But in any case, – regardless of the item being true to its word or not – it’ll still be considered a crime to not have it in your inventory.
We’re talking about the Unbreakable Sword. You’ve heard of this item before, and you know very well that it does in fact break. It’s still enough to get a good laugh if you don’t take item names seriously. What you should take seriously, is how needlessly difficult it is to actually find the item. Prepare for a fight, because that’s what going to keep you occupied as you go through this guide!
Biggoron’s Sword Location
Your efforts in getting Biggoron’s or the Unbreakable Sword will take you to the Skull Lake Chasm. You can find the orifice leading down to the interior by the lake near Akkala. Go to the abyss and the chest will be at the bottom along with the Stalnox you need to fight.
It’d be much better to approach the lake from the south side. That way you have a larger margin of error to work with once you’re on top of the entrance. Halfway through your descent you’ll discover the Skull Lake Chasm, and further down will be the House of Bones.
Clear out the area of the smaller enemies and Stalnox will eventually awaken. The chest is yours for the taking, so long as you defeat the beast guarding it. Use a Brightbloom Seed by the way! Its pitch black down there.
After your enemy has been felled, the seal on the chest will disappear. This allows you to open it without any more consequences.
Now if you’re still looking for gear and hate the prompt you’re seeing below, check out the location guide for the Korok Seeds. You’ll definitely need the extra inventory slots later!
