You will find a lot of different creatures in Tears of the Kingdom. One of those creatures is the Bubbul Frog. This isn’t your typical kind of frog. Slaying these frogs will not drop meat, but rather something mysterious. A shining gem from a frog? That sounds valuable, better find them.
In this article, we will focus on how to find a Bubbul Frog in Dapilian Badlands Cave. All Bubbul Frogs are located in every cave that you can enter in the game. You can find multiples of them lurking in the shadows, waiting to be found by you.
Dapilian Badlands Cave Location
The Dapilian Badlands Cave system can be found in the region of the Eldin Mountains. It is located at the northern end of the region. I will show you how to reach the cave, by following the easiest route leading to the cave.
- The fastest way to reach the entrance of the cave is by fast-traveling to the Minetak Shrine found in the Eldin Mountains Region. Using the fast-travel features of the shrine saves you some time traveling to the location by horse or vehicle you have created. Its coordinates are 0393, 3485, 0068
- Once you have reached the shrine, it’s time to travel to the entrance of the cave. The entrance of the cave is decorated with a skull and bones. To enter the cave, simply jump down until you reach the end.
Once you’re at the bottom of the cave. It’s time to look for the frogs. They are usually sticking to the wall. It only takes 1 hit to kill them and get their loot. Let the hunt begin!
Finding the Bubbul Frog
Each cave may consist of one or more Bubbul Frogs and the total population of the frogs in the game is 100, scattered all over the regions. However, it is not consistent and may contain only one. In the Dapilian Badlands Cave, you can find it very close to the entrance. Just follow my guide and you’ll find it quick.
- If the cave is too dark for you or your screen, I suggest you bring Brightbloom seeds with you to illuminate the area. After jumping down, turn to the right until you see another section where there are passageways. As shown in the picture below.
- When you find both passageways, turn to the left and you will see the frog sticking to the wall. You can kill the Frog using any weapon. It only takes 1 shot or 1 hit to kill the frog. Killing the Bubbul Frog will give the player its Bubbul Gem. The game will ask the players to collect more of them like it’s some kind of collectible in the game.
Will this knowledge, you can now start your hunt for the Bubbul Frogs and their Bubbul Gems. Search every cave you come by, defeat the enemies inside, and look for the frogs. As the game said, better collect them all. Remember there are 146 Bubbul Frogs found in the game. Happy hunting!
