The Hoarder’s Hunt Mystery is a new quest added in Sea of Thieves which involves players decoding clues found in the game and the real world to unlock mysterious chests left by the Gold Hoarders.

- The next step is to log into the game and find Larinna and talk to her.
- While browsing here inventory, purchase The Hunt for the Silver Plated Key for zero gold.
- Head to the Captain’s Table inside your ship and propose the voyage.
- Once the voyage is proposed, you will receive a mysterious treasure map guiding you.
- Open the map, which will have an X on one of the islands. Since the islands differ depending on the spawn location, figure out the island and sail to it.
- At the island, dig into the sand to uncover the Mysterious Journal.
- The journal’s clue will lead you to Crescent Isle.
- At the island, head above the cave and. Use your shovel and dig near the grassy stones by the fern to get the next set of mysterious pages.
- The new mysterious pages will lead you to Lonely Isle.
- Head to Lonely Isle and dig near the fallen lantern to unlock the final set of mysterious pages.
- These pages will lead you to Lone Cove, where you must find the tallest tree on the island.
- Head towards the Northern End of the island, where you can find this tree right next to a hammock.
- Using your shovel, dig under the tree, and you will unearth a Collector’s Chest in which you can find the Plated Silver Key.
- The final step is to sell this key to the Gold Hoarders and visit Larinna to unlock the next voyage.

Detailed Guide
To unlock the Silver Plated Key Voyage, enter the secret code on the Sea of Thieves website. Make sure you link your account to ensure that you get access to this voyage. On the website, enter OUTC45T, which is the secret code.
Once you have entered the code on the website, head into the game and locate Larrina. You can find her at any active outpost right outside the tavern.
Talk to Larrina and browse her stock to find the voyage. You can buy The Hunt for the Silver Plated Key for zero gold from her.
After purchasing the voyage, head over to the Captain’s Table inside your ship. Over there propose the newly obtained voyage. Once you start the voyage, your inventory will receive a mysterious treasure map.
Decode the map, which will lead you to a small island. The location differs depending on where you spawn, so locate the correct one. At the island, using your shovel, dig up the ground to unearth the mysterious journal.
This set of clues will lead you to Crescent Island. You need to climb to the top of the cave located on the island.
Once on top of the cave, find the fern next to the grassy stones and dig up the fern. Once this is done, you will unlock the next set of pages.
The next set of clues will lead you to Lonely Isle. On the island, locate the fallen lantern next to the barrels. Using your shovel, dig next to the lantern to access the final set of Mysterious Pages.
The final set will lead you to Lone Cove. At Lone Cove, take out your compass and follow it to move directly North. Your goal here is to locate the tallest tree on the island. Eventually, you will spot the tallest tree next to a hammock on an elevated hill.
Dig directly underneath the tree using your shovel, and you will unearth the Collector’s Chest. Open the chest, and you will find the Plated Silver Key, which marks the end of your voyage.
Sell this key to the Gold Hoarders for some extra money. This will also unlock the next voyage you can pick up from Larrina.
