Diablo 4: Show The Ancient Statue You Keep The Traditions Guide

It’s a yes for me!

We all know that Diablo 4 is all about killing demons and traveling to different regions in search of quests. However, some sidequests don’t require the player to kill demons to complete the quest and receive your reward.

In this article, I will show you how to complete the sidequest called Keeping the Old Traditions. I will provide a walkthrough on what you need to do and where to start the quest.

Keeping The Old Traditions Guide

To start the sidequest, players must interact with a Lonely Offering Tome that is found in the Valley of the Strayed inside the region of Dry Steppes. Read further in the guide to find the exact location of the quest.

Now, this is one of those weird but simple sidequests that can be accomplished by the players by just using their YES EMOTE. You’ll need to equip the emote in one of the slots in your emote wheel. Here’s the whole walkthrough.

  1. First, make sure you’re already inside the Dry Steppes region. If you’re outside the region, I suggest you use the Jirandai Waypoint and use the fast-travel option. Diablo 4: Show The Ancient Statue You Keep The Traditions Guide
  2. After using the waypoint, head to the location marked in the picture below. Use your map to find the exact location. It’s not far from Jirandai Waypoint. Diablo 4: Show The Ancient Statue You Keep The Traditions Guide
  3. When you reach the area, you will see the Lonely Offering Tome on the ground. Interact with the tome and the sidequest will begin. Diablo 4: Show The Ancient Statue You Keep The Traditions Guide
  4. Finally, it’s time to find the Ancient Statue and show our emote to complete the quest. The location of the statue is shown in the picture below. It is near the spot where you found the tome. All you need to do is go down the road and take a left turn. Diablo 4: Show The Ancient Statue You Keep The Traditions GuideDiablo 4: Show The Ancient Statue You Keep The Traditions Guide
  5. Now that you found the statue, open your Emote Wheel and look for the Yes Emote. Doing so will reward the player with a chest containing XP, gold, renown and elixirs for the player.

This sidequest is quite different than all the quests you can take in Diablo 4. I would consider this quest to be the easiest and yet weird side quest that the game offered for the players. Be on the lookout for more sidequests and be sure to have all of your emotes ready.
