When going through the gigantic map of Diablo 4 you might find these dungeons scattered around. When you first clear these dungeons, you’re rewarded with an aspect. These aspects can buff your abilities or even add new effects to them possibly changing your play style. Some Aspects are important for certain builds so it’s good to know where to find them.
In this guide, we’ll show you where to find the Maulwood dungeon and what aspect it gives you. We’ll also briefly show you what to expect inside! Now, let’s find that dungeon!
Maulwood Location
The Maulwood Dungeon is pretty close to the hub city of Kyovashad. In the Fractured Peaks region south of Kyovashad, is where you can find the Dungeon. It’s also Southeast of the Light’s Watch Dungeon if you’ve found that already. The sub-region is called Dobrev Taiga.
The Maulwood Dungeon, like all dungeons in the game, rewards the player an aspect when they first complete it. The aspect you can get in Maulwood is the Slaking Aspect, a Barbarian only Aspect. This aspect gives a chance to gain fury when you get a lucky hit and when rend deals direct damage to a bleeding enemy.
The dungeon entrance is covered in trees but luckily, it’s also glowing orange and red like other dungeons. This makes it easy for you to spot it, you can use the image below for reference.
At the beginning of the dungeon, you’ll have an objective where you’ll have to defeat Bandit Sentries. There are also other enemies like the Wood Wraiths that can take more hits than the Marauders you’ll see. The dungeon also has a second area that you’ll access after doing the first two objectives and after that you’ll need to destroy Skeletal Structures.
This dungeon doesn’t have a boss but the structures at the end do have a lot of mobs around it. Be prepared to kite and destroy a lot of enemies in this dungeon!
