The first Captains Week Event has arrived at the Sea of Thieves! Throughout the event, you can purchase captained ships at a discount, earn exclusive rewards by selling treasures to the Sovereigns, and unlock new inclusive swords. Captain’s Rapier and Captain’s Heavy Swords are the two swords you can get by completing the challenges in this event. In this guide, we will give you insights about the event and explain how you are going to acquire Captain’s Rapier and Heavy Sword!
Captain’s Week Event Guide
The Captain’s Week Event is accessible from June 15 to June 22 and lasts for a full week. There are two challenges for you to fulfill during the event. The Captain’s Rapier and the Captain’s Heavy Sword are the rewards for the challenges you have to complete: the Gold in the Hold and the Hoard in the Soul. Each challenge requires you to sell a certain number of treasure pieces to Sovereigns.
Before diving right into the challenge requirements, you should be aware that in order to sell your items, you must be on board a Captain’s Ship. Fortunately, the event presents a chance to purchase a ship at a reduced cost. However, if you don’t have enough cash to purchase it, you can also set out aboard another pirate captain’s ship, sell your loot, and take part in the event.
How to Unlock the Captain’s Rapier & Heavy Sword
You should complete the Gold in the Hold challenge to get the Captain’s Rapier. To finish the guide you have to sell 50 pieces of treasures to the Sovereigns.
To get the Captain’s Heavy Sword, you need to complete A Hoard in the Hold challenge. This one requires you to sell 150 pieces of treasures.
How to Get Treasures
There are several methods for finding treasures. You can either raid a treasure vault, collect Bounty Skulls, or rescue some crates from a lost shipping voyage.
Other than that, in order to quickly gather loot, you can also visit the closest seaports and siren treasuries.
You can only finish the challenges once because they cannot be repeated. The best aspect is that you can keep working on the tasks anytime you like and are not required to finish them all at once.
You can sell almost every treasure you found. However, the food items chicken, shark, and fish, which contain the hunter’s call, are the only things you cannot sell to get points. When you complete the challenges, the swords will appear in your armory for you to equip.
So, these are all the things you need to know for the Captain’s Week Event in Sea Of Thieves! Use your time mindfully and complete the challenges to get Captain’s Rapier & Heavy Sword. Leave a comment below if you have further questions.
