You just never seem to have enough storage in Farmstead. If this is your farming life, then you want to know everything there is about increasing your storage capacity. Keep reading to learn more about Silos in Farmstead and how you can get more of them!
How To Increase Storage Capacity With Silos
You can increase your storage capacity by purchasing more Silos within the game. Your game starts in Farmstead with this iconic red Silo. It has a small storage capacity, but overtime, you can unlock more space by paying coins.
You can have a total of 147 slots in a single silo. But if you’re someone who likes to have a whole row of pumpkins, pumpkin seeds, and other harvest, this is barely enough. You need a whole lot more of space, we always do.
So head over to the Shop and then hover to the Functional category. To ease your search, type in the search bar “silo“. It’ll turn up with four results, all of them different designs of silos. The price also goes up from 1000 coins for the basic silo, 200 gems for Tall Metal Silo, 300 gems for Wide Metal Silo, and 400 gems of the Hopper Silo.
The most important part before you start dumping all your gems on the Silos is that duplicates do not provide more storage. For example, if you buy another Basic Silo and place it at the end of the map, it will just share the same storage with the other one. You’re simply adding more access points to your storage.
Fortunately, each Silo comes with the same amount of slots. They start with two rows open and then you have to pay more coins to unlock more rows. Every single one can have the maximum capacity of 147 slots.
So at this point, four Silos x 147 slots each is the most you can in Storage Capacity via the Silos. The total price to upgrade the Silos to the max capacity as of writing is 71,725 coins. The final row upgrade alone is 10,000.
Happy hoarding!
