Disney Dreamlight Valley is a video game for all Disney fans that grew up with Disney. While it is still in Early Access, it does not mean that the game is not fun. Content will be added eventually, but the content that is available right now is already fun. It also allows you to show developers what you want. As an Early Access player, you can give suggestions to the developers to help add more content for the game. But for now, we will be focusing on how to get Donald Duck into our village in A House Fit For A Duck Quest.
Disney Dreamlight Valley – A House Fit For A Duck Quest Guide
In order to build Donald’s home in the Valley, you will need to collect materials for the Boat Repair Kit. For that, you will need 16 Softwood, 8 Hardwood, 2 Iron Ingot, and 4 Ropes. You can find Softwood in the Plaza and the Meadow. Meanwhile you can get Hardwood in places like the Forest of Valor, Glade of Trust, Sunlit Plateau etc. Basically, anywhere that isn’t the Meadow, Dazzle Beach, or Plaza.
For the Iron Ingots and Rope, you will need to craft them at the Crafting Station. For Iron Ingot, you need 5 Iron Ore and 1 Coal Ore to make one Iron Ingot. To make 2 Iron Ingots, you will need 10 Iron Ore and 2 Coal Ore. For the 4 Ropes, you will first need to get Seaweed to make Fiber. Get at least 10 Seaweed and use it all to create Fiber, as you need 32 Fiber to craft 4 Ropes.
Once you get all of the required items, you now have to craft the Boat Repair Kit. After crafting, head to Donald and give him the Boat Repair Kit. He will then ask you to follow him to the house to have it built by Scrooge, which he does for free.
After the repair of the boat is complete, Donald will ask you to help him clean up the inside of the boat (the lazy duck). However, there is a bug that prevents players from completing the quest. There is one item that is impossible to pick up, due to where it is placed. It is between the sofa and the coffee table, which you cannot move to get the last item. As of now, there is no way to complete this quest, so we will have to wait till the developers patch this.
