There’s a new action-adventure game out there and it’s A Plague Tale: Requiem, the sequel to the award-winning game A Plague Tale: Innocence. The game continues the story of Amicia and Hugo as they try to find a way to remove Hugo’s curse, they learn that there’s a prophesized island out there that may help them. Follow their journey through plague-infested towns as well as vibrant forests and great plains as they find their way to the island. In this guide we’ll show you how to reach the ruins at the center of the island in chapter 11.
Reach the Ruins at the Centre of the Island | A Plague Tale Requiem: Chapter 11
Chapter 11 has a lot of content and story to go through and it also features large open area that might be confusing for some people. At one point in the chapter, you’ll be tasked with reaching the ruins at the center of the island, this is how you do it.
There will be a path that is lit by torches, but some of the areas aren’t lit completely so you’ll need to use Sophia to use the prism to guide your way through the rats.
Near the end of the path is an unlit torch, light it up with your sling. You’ll then notice that it’s too far for the prism, good thing there’s a bundle of sticks you can use for torches next to the previous torch.
Use the torch to go through the rats and into the safety of that far away torch. Just continue following the path while lighting up the area and using the prism. You’ll then find yourself next to a small building with a brazier cart that’s already lit.
Use a fire bolt to shoot at the area near the post marked in white. Then go to the post and use the rope there to shoot a rope bolt to the thing that’s blocking the cart.
This will then let the cart roll down and all you need to do is follow it.
Now use the cart to go through the rest of the rats. At the end of the path, you’ll have to leave the cart a light a nearby stack of hay to get through the rats. The rest of the path is the same as the previous parts, light up torches and use the prism to get through.
At the end is a torch next to a crate which you can climb up and then get to the ruins!
