Alan Wake 2 features a lot of detective elements that were not featured in the original game. That is mainly due to the fact that Alan Wake is not a detective, but a writer. However, with Saga Anderson, who is an FBI agent, she has the smarts to put things together like a detective.
The game will have you look at a crime scene that takes place in Cauldron Lake, but you might have a hard time looking for the clues. In this guide, I will show you how you can find all of the clues around the crime scene in Alan Wake 2.
Look Around the Crime Scene
When you are looking for Nightingale, you will be taken back to Cauldron Lake to look for more clues around the crime scene. At this point, just follow Casey to the crime scene.
Either that, or you can run past him and head there first. Either way, you two will end up at the crime scene where Saga will have to look around for clues.
Once at the crime scene, you can speak to Casey to get more info about the case. It’s not important, but it will add more information to the game to help understand it better.
After talking to Casey, you can then head to the side of the table to look at the symbol that’s on the table. There, you will be able to collect your first clue about the Cult of the Tree.
After getting the symbol, look to your right and keep moving forward. Make sure you are looking down so you can see the investigation icon.
When you approach it, you will find Nightingale’s footprints, which is the last clue you need to start searching for Nightingale.
That’s all you need to know on what to look around for in the crime scene in Alan Wake 2. Did this guide help you understand what you need to be looking for? Let us know in the comments below.
