All 3 Keycard Locations - Sons Of The Forest

Keycards are just fancy keys, we all know this. Since the very first Doom games where you had to hunt down colored keys that open colored doors Keycards have been around in video games for a while now.

The hit new game out there Sons of the Forest, made by the same developers that made The Forest, is now out in Early Access and thousands of people are playing it right now. Of course, the game also has keycards that you’ll need to get to access the more advanced areas of the game.

In this guide, we’ll show you where to find all the 3 Keycards in the game!

Sons Of The Forest -All 3 Keycard Locations

Sons of the Forest is still in Early Access and which means it’s still in active development but you can already buy and play it. That means that things are subject to change and there may be more content in the future.

At the time of writing, there are 3 Keycards in the game: the Maintenance, VIP, and Guest Keycards. Here, you’ll need to get the Maintenance Keycard first, then you find the VIP one, and finally the Guest Keycard.

Maintenance Keycard

For the first one, you’ll need to get yourself a Shovel.

Once you have it go to the eastern keycard location on the map above. There you’ll find these two posts, in the middle is a muddy area where you can dig into them.

This will show the Maintenance A hatch that you can then open and go down.

Once you’re down go through the long hallway and to the right, there you’ll see a laptop on a desk, to the right is the Maintenance Keycard!

VIP Keycard

Next is the VIP Keycard which is northwest of the location of the Maintenance one.

You’ll need to find the cave shown above, once inside head down until you reach the hatch shown below.

Once inside go right and you’ll see a door that has a keycard scanner next to it, you’ll need to use the Maintenance keycard to open it.

Once open just go deeper down into the facility until you reach the flooded areas, continue on till you find the hallway shown below.

To the left is an open door that you can go through.

This will lead to a monitoring room and there on the desk where there’s a bunch of monitors you can find the VIP Keycard!

Guest Keycard

The last keycard on the list is to the south, check the first image of the article, or the interactive map for details.

This is another cave that you’ll need to go through and this cave leads to a hallway. Go straight then left, then right, to a well lit area where there’s a door with a keypad.

Use the VIP keycard on this one.

Continue through the room going left, and straight to some glass doors. There you’ll find a large double staircase, go up the right one shown below.

Then head straight to the bar area where you’ll find a table where there’s corpses around. Don’t mind them they’re just chilling, grab the last Keycard on the table in the middle!
